"Zora headgear made from dragon scales. Increase swimming speed and allows you to use Spin Attack."
— In-game description

The Zora Helm is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is head armor. It allows Link to perform a variant of the Spin Attack while swimming which resemble the Spin maneuver from Skyward Sword. Equipping the Zora Helm as a set with the Zora Armor and Zora Greaves grants the swim dash stamina up effect though other after the entire set has been upgraded to Level 2 or higher. It is the only piece of the Zora armor set that is not obtained as part of a Quest or Side Quest.

History

Main article: Zora Stone Monument

According to the heavily faded seventh Zora Stone Monument, it is implied that Hylian Champion and Captain of Princess Zora's Royal Knights Link had won the Zora Helm while driving off a Lynel that had left Ploymus Mountain and threatened Zora's Domain, which was later enshrined in a sunken temple in Toto Lake where Link finds it inside a Treasure Chest 100 years later. The armor itself is made of dragon scales which may explain its ability to allow Link to perform a swimming spin attack much like the Spin maneuver used by Link after he obtains the Water Dragon's Scale and may be a reference to the Water Dragon's Scale from Skyward Sword.
