We are ready to begin The Long and Winding Road towards another hundred fights! And we begin with a battle between two companions of the great hero who aid him in crossing troublesome waters. One contestant is a dinosaur-esque creature of some sort, and the other is an animated boat with a minds of its own. Which will be the superior flotation device? Let's see what these guys have been doing... In the brown corner is a friendly Dodongo who aids the hero after being saved from a fate (presumably) worse than death. | LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! It's been a long time coming, and now the time has finally come for our super-fantastic, slightly neurotic, ubiquitous, ambiguous, subliminal, terminal, low sodium ONE HUNDREDTH FIGHT IN THE TEMPLE. OF. COURAGE!!! After a tough week for suggestions, in which people were uncertain on whether or not to bend the conventions of the ToC to celebrate this special occasion, we have a sweet battle lined up for you — not to mention, many, many, many more enjoyable fights in the Temple! It's all just beginning! Now, let's meet this week's contestants, our shy, music-loving flautists, in the ring!
In the red corner is a mysterious lad who is found in a haunted grove. Having found an entrance into the Dark World and subsequently stuck, he wants only for someone to retrieve his flute and play for him the song which he loves. His apparition, which appears in the Light World is beloved by animals, but disappears whenever someone comes too close. THIS... IS... THE FLUUUUUUUUUUUUTE BOOOOOOOOOOOOY!!! In the orange corner is an impish creature who resides within the Lost Woods. Unusually shy towards those of another race and hostile towards adults, he befriends only those who know a special song of the forest. Being the mischievous creature that he is, he does not pay full price for the mask which is sold to him. THIS... IS... THE SKUUUUUUUUUUUULL KIIIIIIIIIIIID!!! There have been a great many legendary fights in the Temple of Courage thus far. Will this live up to the legacy and become indicative of the future? That is up to you, our beloved voters! Now let us all raise our glasses (the drinking kind), have a toast and then...
