Woodfall is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It is name of a murky bog in Termina's Southern Swamp. The Woodfall Temple is submerged beneath the murky water until Link raises it from its watery grave by playing the "Sonata of Awakening" on the Pipes of Awakening. Woodfall consists of poisonous water, lily pads, and a raised platform that allows access to the temple after playing the "Sonata of Awakening" on a central podium. Hiploops, Dragonflies, and Mad Scrubs reside along the path to the temple. Woodfall also contains a Great Fairy Fountain, in which after collecting the Stray Fairies from the temple, Link receives the improved Spin Attack. Upon completion of the Woodfall Temple, the poisoned water returns to normal and access to the Deku Princess's chamber becomes available. The effects on the swamp returns to its previous state when Link returns to the First Day.
