| So as you've probably noticed, I haven't updated my game for a very, very long time. The reason for this is that I've hit a brick wall. I know almost everything that goes on the game, including some of the dungeon designs, but this I really, really need help with: the water dungeon (which I have decided to call the Flooded Ruins, for future reference). I can't think of anything, really; the miniboss's appearance, the miniboss strategy, the dungeon item, the boss's second phase (I know I want it to use the dungeon item, but seeing as I don't know what that's going to be...), or even a dungeon map. It would be easy to make a dungeon map (I made the forest and fire dungeon maps pretty much on the spot, which worked pretty well I think), but I have to account for the fact that you have to play through it again as the ice dungeon, in a different way. This means it has to be more creative and dynamic than any other dungeon in the game. Was wondering if you could help me? Some things you should know about it first though.
The Flooded Ruins, as the name implies, is mostly in a state of ruin, and certain things will be inaccesible. I don't want to overdo this, though, because then it'll be obvious that you'll visit in the past or something like that. In the ice dungeon, I'm thinking many bodies of water will be frozen over, so certain passages that were open in the Flooded Ruins will be inaccesible there. The miniboss I want to be a gelatinous blob, but I don't know what it'll be like. The dungeon item needs to be useful in the water, preferably something original but that's not necessary. The boss is a mutated Octorok, so the dungeon item also needs to be able to do something there...underwater, by the way.
On a happier note, however, I've worked out the knight dungeon boss, the earth dungeon miniboss, the undead dungeon miniboss, the undead dungeon prize (which I think is really neat), and the undead dungeon boss (which utilizes the dungeon item quite well, I think).
