Helmasaur King was one biitch to fight. I died how many times? That game is probably the second hardest I've ever played (beaten by Super Mario Bros. 2). It is though, for it's time, a very pretty game. Design and graphics.
Hey AK, I was checking out your Pit of Reckoning and I'd like to inform you that Four Swords Adventures is actually either single- or multi-player. It is a blast to play both ways.
What? Damn, I must have been blind when I originally checked it out. Now, I'm definitely getting it the first chance I get - which will be hard, considering all GC games have been all but pulled out of all shops where I live, and I have little to no money or income. But first chance I see, I'm taking that muff!
Oh and yeah, took me a fairy and three Blue Potions to nail that sucka the first time. Had way more problems with that boss in Skull Woods/Skeleton Forest that I can't remember the name of now though, and the two-headed Dragon in Turtle Rock. I never knew the names before now, so I have to learn them. Enemies are never referred to by name before OoT except in game guides and suches, kinda annoying.
Of course, going right on this after the laughably easy (yet loveable) bosses of Link's Awakening is a change of pace.

Mothula and Trinexx. It took me the Cane of Byrna to finally kill that sucker. By the time I got to him, all my fairies and potions were used up and I was in critical health. I got like five other crystals before I actually killed him.

And a way easier way to beat Helmasaur King is to use bombs, since you only need about three.

Vy do you hate on ze French so much? Is it because their only mildly successful military campaign in recent history (i.e. since 1700) that wasn't aided by America was headed by a man who wasn't even French, but Corsican? Is it because they have such "outreageous accents", as Monty Python put it, or is it something else entirely? I'm quite interested, mainly because it gets boring just waiting around for people besides oneself to do useful things at certain times of day.

No offence to the French, but they only win under one of the three conditions:
They're being led by a foreigner (i.e. Napoleon)
They're being led by a crazy (i.e. Joan of Arc)
Someone else comes and bails them out (see WWI and WWII)
Theoretically the French would do really well with a crazy, foreign leader...Well anyway, the French basically can't win under normal circumstances. I mean, the French Revolution lead to the Reign of Terror (worse than monarchy, ironically, as if one even was impolite they could lose their head), and then a dictator taking over. After that dictator (Napoleon) lost (for the last time), the French went back to a monarchy...which defeated the whole purpose of the Revolution.
Even when they were lead by a foreign leader, they didn't do that well. I mean really, fighting the Russians in Russia in winter...the only other person to make that mistake was Hitler, and we all know how that ended.
Then there was WWI and WWII...they would have been defeated in WWI if Great Britain hadn't interferred, and they basically shouted "Ve surrender!" as soon as the Nazis began moving in...
Remember, I am joking, and if you are French and demand an apology, here it is. That's right, a pre-emptive apology. How do ya like that?
