I was wondering how many non zelda related images I can upload. Cause I have ideas for a bunch of other userboxes but their images are non zelda related. Is there a limit on how many I can upload? Thanks.
Not really. But I'd appreciate it if you kept them on a relatively small level, as Zeldapedia isn't an image hosting service. We really should make some rules, come to think of it. Thanks for asking though.

I'm going to the top gaming wikis and adding relevant videos (from YouTube) to a few of the most popular/visited articles. I apologize if any of the videos don't follow Zelpapedia's policy (I didn't know you had a video policy). Feel free to either remove the videos I added or replace them with better choices. The only thing that matters, as far as our experiment goes, is that there are videos to click on (for tracking purposes). The specific videos themselves are irrelevant to the test, but I do try to choose videos that are appropriate to the article I'm adding them to. Again, sorry for any problems. Kinda split on it. I like the activity it provides, but I'd greatly prefer it if it were Zelda-oriented. I like Kingdom Hearts as much as the next guy but it seems weird having one on a Zelda wiki. That and all those 100+ pages and images they have now are kinda getting on my nerves. But what can you do?
Isn't most of it already covered by the seven sages? Yeah. Xicera joined and quit as did I. I sugested they go actually help revive the Organization XIII wiki. They seem to like the idea... But all we can do is just hope for the best. My cousin is crazy about Kingdom Hearts, so she hopes it can continue on the actual wiki it matches. I'm a bit depressed. People say I'm normal when I'm depressed... My great grandma just died and I just got back from her funeral.

I'm not sure if it's my place to say anything... But I like the idea, maybe the forum could be like a stickied thread? Xicera has a wii, but if I know her dad, he'd kill her if she gave it out so she may have to ask. Heck, he's not to crazy about her being on here talking to poeples she doesn't know (neither are my parents...) so, yeah. And if you're looking for a new system, get the new one... On Halloween, Xicera told me she was at her other Cousins house to take them trick or treating. Her undle wa playing this game with cars on the internet where you try to crash other cars. If you have a camera, it would take a picture of the person you crashed. She had this hot-pink wig and her uncle aimed the camera at her so that everytime they got crashed, she'd make a face and they'd see it. She told me the most common face she made was puckering up and making the peace sign with her hands. I wish I would have been there. Inksplotch

Yeah, this guy has some disturbing stuff under "swords/weapons used by Link" in his table of favorites. Not really a vandal, but you should probably tell him that's not acceptable. He's also adding links to games that have nothing to do with Zelda, which then makes them come up under the "wanted articles" category, which irritates me. So... ummm.... I've noticed you guys have been removing references from your articles. (The latest ones I've seen were by AuronKaizer so that is why I'm telling you here.) If this has anything to do with why there seems to be no references on Zelda Wiki.org, then there is something you need to know: We are having technical problems over there. References won't display for users that are not logged in. ([1]). We're trying to fix it. Well, actually, we've decided not to use references and citations here since the games are perfect sources by themselves. We sometimes use them to source very disputable things that cannot be proven by checking the games, but that's not very often at all. Yes I think is a wonderful idea to make it a thread but on the note of what system to buy, I think its beter to stay true to Nintendo and buy a wii i mean at this very moment im on the wii internet channel typing this message, so yes you should buy a wii also because it has already been anounced, but back to the subject I think we should make it a new official poll on the front page and ask the other members of the wiki their opinion as to what to do about a wii # page

There isn't really any deadline. Just edit in your application. If enough votes in your favour are made (we don't really have any real rules here, usually an admin checks out the page and if a majority of the votes are in your favour, promotes you to admin/rollbacker). Feel free to, but take my advice when I ask you to don't sit up waiting for it. The process takes time. If the vote fails, you can re-nominate yourself, preferably after some time, so you can take the constructive criticism to heart and show you're really worthy of the privileges.

But the news at the main page once said "Vote for administrators on Zeldapedia:Requests for adminship". What I mean is, if that isn't there, why would anyone check the page? When will the news say that again?
That was just a publicity plug I reckon. Just to link it from the main page so people would pay attention to it. I don't really know. But there's no deadline and it's not like there are "opening seasons" for admin/rollback requests.
While I think getting the chance to showcase one's work and knowledge of Zelda by editing an article is incentive enough (at least it is to me) it seems like a good way to up member activity around here. I need to think about it first though. No definite answer yet.

I would like to ask you a question about Organization XIII. Do you believe that club belongs on this wikia? I would like your opinion. You are one of the very few people one this wikia who isn't...umm, how do I put this politely...well, let's just say you are one of the very few people left on this wikia who has intelligent thoughts and makes rational decisions. There, that probably didn't offend too many people. And anyone who sees this who is not AK and didn't get this message, it's not because I don't think you are inteligent or rational. It's just because I don't want hundreds of messages on my talk page about Organization XIII.

However, as much as I do like the KH series and have spent at least 100+ hours on each game, I think since we are indeed a Zelda wiki, that it would be nice and proper to have a club at least somewhat related to Zelda. I'm not against it staying as Org. XIII though. Basically, it's your call to make (I think? I forget about things like this all the time) just know that I am glad that it produces activity.

thanks for the opinion. I myself am kinda against it. Although it is nice that it brings activity to this wikia, there are two main reasons I am against it:
They keep spamming people's talk pages (that is my biggest problem).
It isn't Zelda themed, which I believe it should be. I mean, this is Zelda wikia, not Kingdom Hearts wikia. I have nothing against Kingdom Hearts though.
I would like the club better if they Zelda-fied it. Something like "Adventurer's Guild" or "Tetra's Pirates." Heck, even "The Koolo-Limpahs" would be better. At least that's zelda themed.
Yeah, I agree about the spamming/advertising thing. I've warned the ones responsible a couple of times, looks like they didn't heed the warning. If we could find a way to make a good club that provides activity and fun for anyone who wants to that is Zelda themed, that'd be great. The spamming would have to be stopped though.

Well, I'm using one of the scripts native to the Wikia coding. The code bracket "<choose>" initiates a sort of random script that chooses one of several options, enclosed within a "<choose>" bracket. For instance, putting "<choose><option>Monkeyspam is good ham</option><option>Yeaghisirsiqrqweoaskdasjf</option></choose>" will prompt the coding to randomly display one of the two choices. Hello again! I was wondering if there was something you could fix for me. In my tinkering in the Oracle games sections, i misspelled "Bipin" as "Bippin", thus creating the link to its unwritten page. Not realizing i had misspelled it, i went on and created the page under "Bippin". So, now there is a page for both Bippin and Bipin(the correct one). If you could take appropriate action in deleting/redirecting/fixing "Bippin" I would appreciate it a lot. I have already gone through pages containing the misspelled version and fixed their spelling and links, so they should all be correct, but now its just the problem of the unneeded page. Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Well, we have no real "system" for that as such. You can always create a forum thread about the rule you want to implement/change/baste in cooking oil and set it up much like a Temple of Courage suggestion. Yeah, ZP could be more active, but to do that, we need members that actually help and contribute here. Of course, due to the complete mess this site was for some years until 2008, I can't blame anyone for not starting to do things around here until recently. I wasn't even sure if I wanted to join when I first arrived here.
Sorry I flew off the handle, but I get sick and tired of hearing it, even if it doesn't happen often. This place has been a good place to hang out and edit on, and I don't like hearing that everything could be in vain. ZP can and will become the best Zelda wiki out there!

Sure, I can help you with that. How do I explain it...well, the way most people do it is that they create a template article that holds the coding for the userbox. By linking to that template article, it is automatically created without you having to enter the coding each time. I can do that for you, but I want to know what you want the article to be called. Template:PP, Template:Peak, Template:PProvince...just tell me and I'll fix that.

aren't hyrule council, seven sages and cardshops in ruin? Because the lack of XXXXX and others lately things have been handicapped. P.S. griffen has been telling everyone not to join clubs, (hyrule council, seven sages) because they are whats killing the wiki is that true?
From what I've gathered, since I haven't really seen any recent edits to those pages, all those clubs are inactive. As for what Griffen said, it's fine for you to join the club, but we once had a discussion about them, but they've been resolved. You can join any club you like, just be sure to contact the leaders of said club. As for them "killing the wiki", I disagree. They provide a hangout and much needed dialogue between the members.
