no oni dark link isnt my real name (obviously) and im not going to say im a character from the ingame universe. I live in Ireland and i think im the only Irish living user here. i edit here quiet often. This is the only wiki im edit on at the moment but i am thinking about jioning the final fantasy and smash wikis. just incase some one was wondering about my name its a combination of two of my favorite zelda characters. Dark Link and Fierce Deity Link (Oni Link). I really like Ganondorf too (maybe even more then the others) but I dont think I should of put him in my name. it'd be a bit too much and i think Oni Dark Link works well.
Now to tell you the meaning each character has to me
- Fierce Deity: Represents Majora's Mask and the hidden power all good heroes have
- Dark Link: represents Zelda II and the fact that one of the most hated games can spawn one of the most widely liked characters.
- Link: Ties the two together and represents Link himself which in turn represents all of the Zelda series which I believe is the best video game series ever made.

heres some funny things ive noticed in the series
we all know link is left handed except in the wii version of twilight princess but in zelda ii the adventure of link when he's looking left the sword is in his left hand and when hes looking rigt the sword is in his right hand.
(youve probly noticed this one) in ocerina of time adult link has his ears peirced. but where did he get them done? he was locked in the temple of time asleep for seven years.
(probly noticed this one too) in twilight princess when link is in wolf form or has the wodden sword after the spin attack it makes a mettalic sound.
At the end of majoras mask when the moon is coming it is face first but when the giants come and stop it its face is looking towards the sky.. then in the cut scene of tael and tatl getting reunited it is onece again facing the tower. it reverts back to looking at the sky in the final scene before the credits too. And when were on the subject of the moon. if you look at it from pinnacle rock on day 3 it is the size of all termina and not only clock town as the final scene shows.
when fighting the king of ikana or his body guards if you kill them in the light their body won't diapear unless you shine light at them???
speaking of light in the spirit temple, stone tower temple (very noticable here) and earth temple (not so much earth temple) light still comes in even at night.
in the prologue to the first game it says link destroyed a group of gannon's followers but when the game starts link doesnt have a sword
Ganondorf grew his hair long in the seven year interval of ocarina of time. how is this funny? i have no idea. its also supported in the split time line (his hair is longer in wind waker then twilight princess). another thing while im on that seven year intervial. you notice how hyrule field is safer during Adult Links time even though its suposedly an age of darkness. i mean the only enemies to be found are ten big poes while young links time you are attacked by pea hats and stalchilds. doesnt make sense.
How does the king of red lions manage to stalk link and bring him to windfall without a sail? he must of used to cruse option to tranverse half the great sea!
In the minish cap you have to defeat big chu chus (which are just normal chu chus but link is tiny) by sucking up some of there juice with the gust jar causing it to fall yet when link is normal size the gust jar is unable to suck up one drop of chu chu jelly.
its funny how much of a stub these pages are.

my view on the zelda time line is as followed. you shouldnt be discussing it. if the fans diesect the timline so much we will trap nintendo. they will only be able to make games which corrospond with the time line or add to it. they will have to find a way to connect every game. we, the fans could possibly destroy zelda by looking so hard at making a cronolgy.
Despite that i have a brain that likes to connect things together and although i do stand by that it wont make a difference everyone will continue anyway and when you cant beat em jion em. so here is my time line (call be a hipocrite if you wish but i do have a point)

now if you want to know why and condrdict why i think its this i will explain. Ocarina of time is the first. reason is that gannondorf has never had the triforce and is born shortly before it begins and it was officaly stated as the first game. also my view on the split itme line. the great cataclysm still happened. ganondorf still got int to the sacrad realm and still touched the triforce and still got the triforce of power in both adult and child time line. Evidence (yes evidence im treating this as fact) includes Link returning to the master swords chamber if the door of time is open then ganondorf must already of went in side. also when link returns to zelda his hand glows with the tirforce proof that the triforce has once again split. so that leads me to believe A) they closed the door of time while ganondorf was still in there trapping him in there {a good theory but doesnt fit my time line) or B) ganondorf escaped but Link was able to defeat him again as a child and capture him leading to his exicution and twilight princess {Less likely but still fills in my time line).

majoras mask happens very shortly after ocerina of time. it is the same link. you know the useall reaasons. remembers some songs, seems to know the happy mask sales man, it says it at the start of the game.

now twilight princess i believe comes next. hylian text and people are still around and the landscape hasnt changed much (rotate the twilight princess map on game cube until orden is on the right and see if that makes sense) i believe the triforce becomes whole again at the end of twilight princess

but gannondorf has a clear death in twilight princess. remember the oracles games. what were twinrova trying to do? revive gannondorf not rlease revive. this means i think the oracles could happen not long after twilght princess. also in this gannondorf isnt revived properly which could explain why after this he cannont escape the form of ganon. people think that this is a sequel to lttp and a prequel to links awakening. its not. links awkening link is the same as link to the past link because detl takes form of his night mares two of which are only in link to the past and it cant be the same link as in the oracles because link doesnt know zelda. the only thing to indicate it could possably be a prequel to links awekening is the fact that he leaves on a raft in the final ending but that means absoutly noting. to me anyway.

the origenal comes next. i'll explain why in lttp. i will however say here that it is not fact that zelda and zelda ii are in the wind waker time line because its near a sea. the sea in zelda ii might not even be a sea. it could be a large lake. anyway although you never see it there is a sea in a link to the past because hes lost at sea in the sequel. After much though i have considered the fact that ganon wasnt killed or sealed away at the end of the oracles set (for thise of you that dont know he vageuly explodes but not very convinceingly). he was indured and insane. he hid in suclution until he was well enough in body and mind to attack hyrule again. this leads to me to think that maybe the link in the oracles set and the origenal could be one in the same. there is noting to sugest this but also noting to co aganest it except the apperant age of impa. Zelda apperantly knows Links name at the end of the origenal and it wouldnt make sense for some one to go off and fight for some one he didnt know.

zelda ii does happen after the origenal. it says it in the booklet and you can see some simular locations to the origenal game. I dont believe the people in this game are pure blood hylians. they have slightly long ears but compared to link who is presumably pure blood hylian they are quite small. the origenal zelda could of lived before the oracles and after twilight princess since hyrule had a spell on it presumably casted by the king to make a picture appear on a heros hand which is what happens in the oracles. the only thing not to suggest the origenal zelda was alive before the oracles is that at the start link sees the triforce but this could be an illusion or he could of discovered the great palace where the triforce of courage was and where the other two pieces could of been place briefly.

the reason i put the origenal where it was is because i think thats what happened to all the hylians except for the few surviving in zelda ii. gannon (as hes called back then) attacked completely by surprise and all the hylians who didnt flee died or hid in caves. also the reason i have link to the past here is because it says the masters sword was never drawn again. also the triforce is whole in this game which i believe is a result of zelda ii. as for gannon's rebirth since then. well i believe his followers must of caught up with link some time. Plus i did hear somewhere (both on and off this wiki) it was officaly stated that link of link to the past is a decendent of the origenal zelda link.

links awakening has the same link and happens quite soon after link to the past. it doesnt really have any signafecence. we know its the same link despite miyamoto saying it could be any of them because detl lives out links nightmares one of which is aghaem who is only seen in lttp.

my time line is set in a way that makes it possable to corrospond with and without the split. anyway, split or no split i think wind waker comes next (although it does say the masters sword was never used it could mean never used to save that land. actualy it says it rests for ever... i wonder). its obviously happens alot later then all the others and it is stated link in wind waker is not a desendent of link in any of the others.

phantom hour glass is just like the other sequels we know is a sequel. big thing here is tetra and the "show" at the start.

minish cap. some people believe this happens before ocerina. but you can see link and tetra in the windows of the temple of elements and theres all that about oot is officaly the first game (dont argue that it is also officaly stated that minish cap is because anouma stated that four swords is the oldest tale and thhat minish cap is a prequel but he later in the same interview he he didnt have any part in four swords so he wouldnt know.

four swords. havent played this one to be honest and might never will. it has the four swords and vatti which is more then likely the same from minish cap. I dont think its the same link as minish cap however because i believe this is the same link as four swords adventure and the four swords adventure map is too different from minish cap.

four swords adventure. now this is the only one in my time line that doesnt make sense but it doesnt make sense on most time lines so i guess ill just have to wait and see until the next zelda game comes round (spirirt tracks!!!). ganon is in this even though he died at the bottem of the sea but you dont really trhink hell ever give up do you? this is here because it clearly happens after fourswords and if there is two four swords then minish cap is quite pointless. Although all three of these could be set in a different time line completely not conected to the rest of the series.

Spirit tracks where can this appear? only time can tell. hope fully in between four swords and minish cap or phantom hour glass and minish cap, because then it would fix everyones time line but what am i saying. time lines are bad. death to all time lines! O yeah and Miyamoto's pretty muched revealed it comes after phantom hourglass but im going to wait a while before adding it in to my timeline.

I believe ganondorf absorbed th epower of the fused shadows in Twilight princess. this also gave him the power of the trident midna used and also caused a disterbince when he was revived in oracles because he didnt have the triforce the fused shadow mutated him like it did midna. it was not reveresed even when he reclaimed the triforce of power in the origenal and he stayed in a monseter like form. this is all unessary but it does explain something a lot of people miss and that is why he is in beast form and where he got the trident in one side of the time line. one flaw in this is that he doesnt use the trident in the origenal. the only explination is that link took him be surprise nd he just didnt have it with him when the battle began (which would make sense since he ambushed link all the other times he used it).
The Miyamoto timeline also fits in perfectly with mine. justa note.
Species. If you look at my time line you will notice it also keys in with the speiecs. In ocerina of time everyones alive. in twilight princess everyone is still alive and humans are coming in. in seasons and ages everyone is still alive and in a different country. in the origenal legend of zelda everyone is dead except one or two hylians. after this game no gorons or zora (good zora) appear. meanong they presumably went extince along with the majority of the hylians. on the oppisite side of the line everyone is a live in ocerina of time while everyone is dead in wind waker save three gorons and a cople of hylians. we do have new races but they arent seen again presuamably they didnt go to the new hyrule. anyway in phantom hour glass we see the gorons are still alive and well but also still in small numbers. a while later in minish cap we see six gorons meaning they're still alive. i dont htink there are goron in four swords (i havnt played it) but then again its a small world in that game. after four swords we see plenty of goron meaning they survived the great flood and managed to repopulate themselves in new hyrule. unlike the hylians which are fudimently extinc at this stage.

Ciotód! I wanted to keep my page strictly Zelda instead of throwing a load of random things into it but i just dont know where to put this. i have compiled a list of my favorite left handed people in history. You will find that some of the best characters fictional characters and real are leftys. After you read this you'll never be able to look at leftys in a bad way again. So lets begin. lets look at the characters that had to be drawn with that little bit of extra care. So in no perticular order lets begin.

Indeed i myself am left handed. What can i say? i'm a lefty in a right handed world and if you were left handed (and maybe you are) youd know it can sometimes be very annoying and very uncomfortable. Everyday tasks are a harder such as writing (my writing is terrible since my left hand sumges the ink) and opening jars (damn screw tops). But that is not to say i am ashamed of my left hand, god no. i am a lefty and proud of it. i feel it gives a certain uniqueness to me.

Indeed with the majority of the world being rightys and the next zelda game for a home video console will undoutably be on the wii will it result in a zelda game with a right handed Link? or will the right thing be done and the player will have the option of right or left handedness? yes sephy is a lefty and still one hell of a good swords man. Statitics do show that left handed people or more inclind to suffer from schizophrenia. maybe the proof his here with this loveable killer. Left handed people are also ment to show a certain degree of ambitextory since they are forced to use there right hande alot (like using the mouse on a computer) this can also be proven with early concept are of him holding a Msamune in his right hand and very brief moments of right hand holding in before crisis.

I havn't played the first gen games and couldn't tell you his handedness in them (it probably wouldn't show) but in metal gear solid 1 he no longer has a right arm and is fairly skillfully cutting people to shreds with that left hand. truly one of the best characters in the franchise with an amazing death. Go Grey Fox.

He is the fearsome undead pirate of the spanish seas and true weilder of Soul Blade (be gone with you seighfried). He fights with two swords but i believe he is left handed because 1. He uses the bigger sword in his left hand (bigger=heavier=stronger arm) 2. He primarly kicks with his left leg 3. He is insanely brilliant.

What i mean by not strictly left handed is that hes what we all secretly wish to be. Thats right. Hes an ambo. But fear not. He chooses left over right and you should too. ITs for this reason that so many loveable Nintendo characters are leftys such as Link (above), Mario (dont get me wrong i love him but dont want to make this page too long thats all), all pokemon avitars and the ice climbers (there are more but you know).

When i first played the origenal the legend of zelda i didnt know you could banish the flames with your sword so i let them damage me then ran trhough them before full recovering while thinking it was very mean that you can only win if you havn't enough life left after the battle.
As a child i never use to cal bosses, bosses. I called them Big Lads. Why? Im not sure it wa just something i called them. My brother also called them that and im not sure which of us started it. When did i stop using the term? I dont know. I know i dont use it now. Now i useually call them by their name. But as a child when i played ocarina of time there was only one boss I would call a boss wa morpha since he was the only one smaller then link and thus not a big lad.

- Navi was the person Link was looking for in Majoras mask: yeah who else (why would saria go missing. why would navi go missing you ask? La la la la i cant hear you)
- Deku Links spirit is the deku butlers son who was also the tree seen at the games beginging: i think the game drops enough hints.
- Link and Zelda are a couple: now befor you sue me take note of this line. It is true and untrue. It all depends on the game. In twilight princess zelda doesnt even see links true form until then end of the game. while at the end of zelda ii and the oracles she kisses him. it all depends on what game your talking about.
- Poe Sales Man = Hyrule Guard: hes found on the same spot. i think its what they intended us to know.
- Shiek's Gender: Zelda = Female Zelda = Shiek. Therefore Shiek = Zelda. However i think shiek shold be addressed as male as thats what the character (but not person) is. so whatim saying is that he is a girl but should be adressed as a boy.

- Volviga = female link of the gorons isnt that young.
- Minish cap is before all other zeldas anouma says it is a pequel to four swords the oldest zelda game but he also says in the exact same article he had noting to do with the game so wouldnt know where four swords fits in.
- Heros shade = hero of time absoulutly no logic to this one (except he is left handed). he says my child which could mean anything. true one of those things is him being an ancestor of link but link has other ancestors then just various Links. Plus Link wouldnt talk that much.
- Zora became Rito: the only and i mean only thing to support this is laruto. i dont believe melidi is the physical desendent of Laruto. just like the seven maidens (who are all humoniod) arent the phyisical desendent of the seven sages. I also do not think the shiekah or hylians became rito. i believe the the majority of gorons evolved and few stayed goron. why goron? well they live on the same location and it makes sense that a race that drowns in water would learn how to fly to escape it.
- The man from the curiosity shop = man from the trading post: Why would he not wear a wig when working on the black market. in sense he would have the wig off when working the day job and on with shades while working in the curiosty shop. also he specificly appears at a certain time (nine i think) before ten (when it opens) at the same time he is at the trading post.
- Twili created majora: i do not believe the twili created majoras mask. the happy mask sales man mentions an acient race that has disapeared long ago. the twili did not disapear long before majoras mask and would of been well known to some one the age of the happy mask sales man. i do however believe that the mask came from hyrule. it is in the happy mask sales man possesion who comes from hyrule. he discovered termina by stalking Link. the skull kid brought it to termina because thats where he is from. the only thing to suggest it came from termina are the various pictures. but the triforce is also seen a lot in termina and we know that definetly comes form hyrule.
- Volviga = Stalord: its a riduculas theory. volvigas head is about the same size as a heart piece while stalords is as big as jaba jabas
- Zant = Ooccoo: i think its more likely that a hylian or some other humoniod could dvelop blue skin, green eyes and a round head then an ooccoo explodes to 23 times its own sizes, loses all wings and feathers, learns to speak hylian (only the titled ooccoo could speak it), gains hands and blue skins and green eyes.
- Twinrova is one being that can split into two: the twinrova form looks oddly conjioned besides the arguing death scene proves there are two souls.
- Majora = female: Have you ever seen a woman with that much muscle?
- Tetra Force: Offical statements can be a bit iffy and condrdict each other but if they go and completely redesign they hylian shield i think they are quite sure that it does not exsist.
- Mt Crenel = Death Mountain clearly they are no where near the same
- Creneal Hermit = blade brother absoultly no logic to this one what so ever. Vaati won the sword tournament. Does that make him a blade brother?
- Hero of Men = King Gustaf king gustaf looks noting like the figure in the windows
- World of the ocean king = flooded termina i just dont see this one making sense. the only connection is that neither are hyrule. there's no familuar landscape or reccuring themes.

- Split time line: i am quite sure about this one but not 100%
- Kaepora Gabora = Rauru: I am very mute on this one. as a child i hated the owl and for no reason loved rauru (as in declaring him my favorite character. i was only 5). now however i dont find rauru interesting at all yet have warmed to the owl and quite like him. so characters that i loved and didnt each makes me wonder. but i do see the similaritys to it and know why it is believed true but just lack of evidence makes me unsure.
- Ganondorfs trident was made by the twili i see this very plausable but am still unsure.
- Twili: i am unsure about pretty much every theory around them. a lot of them do make sense but they do contridic each other. i think the most plausable one is that they were an order that consisted of many races. although the one theory no one seems to of come up with is that they are an indipendent race un conected to any other race. to explain why they have shiekah and gerudo symbols could be that they stole ideas from other races. its common.
- Zuna = twili: i believe this is very possable but still do not plege to it 100%. there are similaritys mirror/trident/spell casting but it isnt clear how they would of escaped the twilight realm unless it did happen before but i dont support that idea.
- Skull Kid (OoT) = Skull Kid (MM):im not sure. there are some hints but in ocarina of time he is still there seven years later and still wearing the skull mask. maybe he did go to termina and came back and didnt steal the majoras mask because something happened to the mask sales man in the adult time line but that wouldnt explain why he doesnt wear the skull mask which he managed to keep for seven years, plus the happy mask sales man is seen to be alive at the ending credits.
- Stone Tower Temple, an insult to the gods im about 30-70 on this one. 30% supporting it that is. im just not sure. it looks like people are over thinking things to me. stil that doesnt mean its not plausable.

You've got some interesting ideas on theories there. The one that I disagree with you the most on is the Hero's Shade = Hero of Time one. It totally makes sense to me that he is the Hero of Time. I love how Nintendo drops all the hints without explaining it outright. It makes for wonderful discussions, don't you think? Anyway, ii games I don't consider officially released canonical Zelda games so I didn't include them, but point taken all the same. Uhm, yeah.
