You dont have to bother reading any of the info before the contents box. Then again you dont have to bother reading any of the rubbish on this terrible page (that is not reverse psychology {or is it? [I really can't tell at this stage]})

Me
Edit

Added by Oni Dark Linkno Oni Dark Link isn't my real name (obviously) and I'm not going to say I'm a character from the in game universe. I live in Ireland and am one of the too few Irish living user here. I edit here quiet often. This is the only wiki I'm edit on at the moment but I am thinking about joining the final fantasy and smash wikis. I don't think there is much else to say really except check out my sub-user page also and don't forget to sign. Oni Dark Link
Pages I created or expanded greatly
Edit
The pages I've created and want to keep an eye on. Note not all pages are here just the ones I want to keep an eye on.
- The Legend of Zelda/Prologue and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link/Prologue (and inspired the rest of the prologues with these two), Bot Pillar, Waterfall (The Legend of Zelda), Hungry Goriya, The Door That Does Not Open, Mirror (The Adventure of Link), Bagu's Note, Moruge Swamp, Binding Force
- Dark World Portal, Sun Fish, Armos Knights, Lanmolas, Lost Old Man, Red Shield, Standard Shield, Sword (Link's Awakening), Zora's Lake, Dark Links,
- Running Man, Back Alley, Ikana Royal Family, Drums of Sleep and Guitar of Waves, Ancient Ones, Letter to Kafei, Mine (Majora's Mask)
- House of Pirates and Piratians, King Zora (Oracle of Ages), Endless Day, North Horon (I'm quite happy with how that one turned out), Tree of Mystery, Ambi's Guards, Rosa's Key
- Various charts of the Great Sea. Quest for the Shop Guru Statue, Endless Night, Parry, Long Spear, Sharp Machete, Note to Mom
- Base Creature of Magic, Royal Jewels, Chief Soldier,Moving House, Hebra's Hill, Giant Bomb, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures/Prologue, Mages, Tingle Times
- Nitendo, Mushroom (The Minish Cap), Crenel Bean
- all those hidden skills except for Great Spin
- Bombchu Bag, Self-proclaimed Hero, Guardians of the Great Ice Field, Song Stone, Sacred Power of the Spirits, Battle Mode, Three Spirits
- Fi, (long before she was known as such), Massive Sword
- Big Quiver, Giant Quiver, Treasure Chest Shop, Cameos (a page i didnt create that was informing in its own right before i came but did gain a lot {like doubling in info} with my editing) Torch, Second Quest, Spin Attack (expanded to individuality look at every game), Fairy's Theme, Whirlpool, Duck, Enhanced Defense, Armos Statue, Mark of a Hero, Jinx, Triforce Shard, Sunlight
- Ganty, Piyoko, Young Link (changed it into a page about what its meant to be thus recreating it), Super Smash Bros. Melee (big expansion) Termina: Great Bay, Sir Raven, The Crystal Trap (and a good portion of The Shadow Prince), The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (manga), Eight Dragons
and a good couple of disimbigs and some redirects as well as minor pages I dont feel like listing here.
Other things of note I have done include recording all the videos for Zelda II and proposing the deletion of all the battle articles. Also did a lot of link changing both times the Ocarina of Time sages changed they're names.
Oni Dark Link
Edit
just in case some one was wondering about my name its a combination of two of my favorite Zelda characters. Dark Link and Fierce Deity Link (Oni Link). I really like Ganondorf too (maybe even more then the others) but I don't think I should of put him in my name. it'd be a bit too much and i think Oni Dark Link works well.
Now to tell you the meaning each character has to me
- Fierce Deity: Represents Majora's Mask and the hidden power all good heroes have
- Dark Link: represents Zelda II and the fact that one of the most hated games can spawn one of the most widely liked characters.
- Link: Ties the two together and represents Link himself which in turn represents all of the Zelda series which I believe is the best video game series ever made.
Now you know exactly what I mean every time I sign my name any where with those three simple words. Oni Dark Link 23:24, October 31, 2009 (UTC)
My pages
Edit
Apart from my user page i have several other pages here. They include:
- Curiosity Trading one or two?
- Dungeon Reviews (open to suggestions)
- Game Redux
- A left handed thing with long name
- Majora's Mask Walkthrough specific to the 3 day challange
- My Zelda Game
- Series evaluation
- Tournament of minor characters
- Why Majora's Mask doesnt originate in Termina
Spin Attack
Edit
Very happy about that getting featured article stats. Originally it was a very minor page with info describing only the attack its self but I expanded it to look in detail at every game that used it including the non cannon games. Took a day’s worth of researching and editing and checking (never had to check so many games for something in one day before) and also contributed to the need of having a technique info box. Now if only we could get someone to do that Four Swords section. Check out mo super edit

I think I'm pretty much in active now. Unfortunately not having internet during the week can really get in the way of such things. I'll see what I can do during the weekends but it probably won't be much.
Some Funny Things
Edit
Here's some funny things I've noticed in the series
We all know link is left handed except in the Wii version of twilight princess but in Zelda II the adventure of link when he's looking left the sword is in his left hand and when hes looking right the sword is in his right hand. The same with he original Zelda. It's in his right hand when stabbing up (as in towards the top of the screen).
(youve probly noticed this one) In ocarina of time adult link has his ears pierced. but where did he get them done? he was locked in the temple of time asleep for seven years.
(probly noticed this one too) In twilight princess when link is in wolf form or has the wooden sword after the spin attack it makes a metallic sound.
At the end of majora's mask when the moon is coming it is face first but when the giants come and stop it its face is looking towards the sky. Then in the cut scene of Tael and Tatl getting reunited it is once again facing the tower. it reverts back to looking at the sky in the final scene before the credits too. And when were on the subject of the moon. If you look at it from pinnacle rock on day 3 it is the size of all termina and not only clock town as the final scene shows.
When fighting the King of Ikana or his body guards if you kill them in the light their body won't disappear unless you shine light at them???
Speaking of light in the spirit temple, stone tower temple (very noticeable here) and earth temple (not so much Earth Temple) light still comes in even at night.
In the prologue to the first game it says link destroyed a group of Gannon's followers but when the game starts link doesnt have a sword
Ganondorf grew his hair long in the seven year interval of ocarina of time. How is this funny? I have no idea. It's also supported in the split time line (his hair is longer in wind waker then twilight princess). Another thing while I'm on that seven year interval. You notice how hyrule field is safer during Adult Links time even though its supposedly an age of darkness. I mean the only enemies to be found are ten big poes while young links time you are attacked by pea hats and stalchilds. Doesn't make sense.
How does the king of red lions manage to stalk link and bring him to windfall without a sail? He must of used to cruse option to transverse half the great sea!
In the minish cap you have to defeat big chu chus (which are just normal chu chus but link is tiny) by sucking up some of there juice with the gust jar causing it to fall yet when link is normal size the gust jar is unable to suck up one drop of chu chu jelly.
On the subject of chu chu jellys in majoras mask if link wears the stone mask they will not attack him but they will still follow him with their eyes (they're not meant to see him)
Orca, the Swordsman and Vaati (who won the sword contest) are never seen wielding a sword.
In Majora's Mask a Goron cannot kill a chu chu except when using its spiked roll.
There is a paper airplane in Ikana Castle
The Mushrooms in Majora's Mask seem to grow in unhygienic places like Gorman's boxers or the rest room.
After defeating Morpheel he crashs into the wall and all the water in the room flows out. The dungeon is under water and water doesnt flow that fast into soil so that means there must be a large space of air surrounding that room.
In Master Quest in the Spirit Temple there are several chests (one that even contains an optional key) that you only cause to appear when your adult Link yet when you go back in time they are still there (even though you caused them to appear in the future)
I find it funny that a Deku Stick does the same level of damage as the blade of evil's bane. Really you wouldn't imagine it'd do more damage then a sharpened sword let alone a magical sword.
Despite the Zelda series being a mainly medieval themed franchise the most common item in the series besides the sword and shield are hand held explosives.
Why does the Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule sticker power up electric attacks in Brawl? What does the King of Hyrule have to do with electricity? And why can Link and Toon Link equip it? To my knowledge they don't have any electric attacks. It also seems strange that the Deku Baba sticker powers up leg attacks when deku babas don't have any legs. I suppose that one is because deku babas attack low similar to most kicks.
The Golden Gauntlets allow Link to lift large blocks that are, presumably, extremely heavy. Yet he still isn't strong enough to wield the Biggoron's Sword with a shield.
On Rolling Ridge in Oracle of Seasons there is a time portal that can be activated using the Tune of Echoes to get to the past. However if you stand on the exact same spot and use the Tune of Ages instead you will be unable to get to the past because a sign will be in your way. This is in front of the Goron Gallery. Using the Tune of Echoes to get there removes the sign until Link returns to the screen (which is interesting since you need to use this time portal to get here at one point in the game).
I don't know why but I like the way the Lantern will follow Link around in A Link to the Past putting itself in each chest until Link finds it. Kind of reminds me of Herbie.
In Twilight Princess Wolf Link can not use his big charge attack if he is not with Midna. Like when he is warped out of the Twilight in Wolf form before getting the Master Sword or even when Midna leaves his side so he can jump to a certain place. However he can use the charge attack with out Midna very briefly when ever he has to howl a song with the Hero's Shade. I find this quite strange I would have thought the programming would have just made the attack unuseable when ever Midna isn't on the model considering how much care they take to display him unable to use it when she leaves him for five seconds for jumps.
If the Cloud Barrier seperates the Sky from the rest of the world, then how come the sun can still be seen from the surface?
The Future of the Zelda Series
Edit
Things I would and wouldn't like to see in future Zelda games (not specifically Zelda Wii)
What I would like to see
Edit
- Magic Meter: The last five games haven’t had any magic meter. It's been eight years! Magic always makes the game more interesting.
- Lens of Truth: It’s a great item which was used nicely in Ocarina of Time. We had wolf senses in Twilight Princess but it just wasn't the same. I would love to see the lens of truth come back or some item similar to it.
- Another Four Swords game: Four Swords games are different but fun. I think we need just one more but no more then one (if even just for the irony of having four games with the four sword). If done on the DS it would also be a lot easier then gameboy due to their in built connectivity and online connection. Of course their should also be a limited one player mode for those with no internet or friends.
- An Ocarina of Time port for DS: That would be quite epic. The game is great and being able to take it with you and play anywhere would be even better as long as it retained D-Pad controls (don’t get me wrong I’ve no problem with the new DS controls but for a game that wasn't designed with them its best to leave the bulk of them out). That was written before the announcement of the 3DS.
- Remote Bombs: They were quite smart.
- Top Down Games: Noting wrong witht the DS overview or the 3D console games but the top down games are classics and shouldn't be forgotten. They are the root of Zelda and work really well as games. Its been six years since we've had one.
- Maple: She was a good character with dept not useually seen in 2D characters. I would deeply like to see her appearing in a couple more games.
- Iron Knuckles: Come on they are the most epic enemy in the series full stop.
- Specifically to Skyward Sword as it is a prequel to Ocarina of Time, I'd like to see rabbits and young Twinrova (maybe a Volvagia reference too, maybe).
What I wouldn't like to see
Edit
- Voice Acting: speaking to some one who mumbles incoherently or shouts yay or something works, Zelda has a good system stick with it. People point out series like final fantasy and say that voice acting worked for that. No! It didn’t. They got lazy after the first game and all voice acting games since feature very little voice acting when talking to NPCs. While in 3D Zelda titles nearly every single character no matter how minor is voice acted.
- Lack of Ganondorf: Recently I've seen people saying we've seen him too much but no. Just no. He has only appeared as a human (Gerudo) trice and we've just had two games without him. He makes the series great. All games with him are epic. I'd like him to appear in Skyward Sword if only to screw up everyone's perception of the timeline. Then again I'd really like is Ghirahim was actually the main villain.
- Clear timeline references: Spirit Tracks had far too many in my opinion. It did work but if every future game had so many references I would be greatly saddened. Remember something with a timeline will have an end but something with no set time could go on for ever.
- Forced right handedness: What can I say? I’m a lefty
Time line
Edit
my view on the Zelda time line is as followed. you shouldn't be discussing it. if the fans dissect the timline so much we will trap Nintendo. they will only be able to make games which correspond with the time line or add to it. they will have to find a way to connect every game. we, the fans could possibly destroy Zelda by looking so hard at making a chronology.
Despite that i have a brain that likes to connect things together and although i do stand by that it wont make a difference everyone will continue anyway and when you cant beat em join em. so here is my time line (call be a hypocrite if you wish but i do have a point)
ocarina of time

Underrated Gods
Edit
A follow up to my list of left handed legends (which still exist on a sub page). It basically lists all the unknown but ultimately awesome things I’ve seen that don’t deserve to be unknown to the masses. So let us begin.
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Edit
Part of the Ganbare Goemon series and one of the greatest Nintendo 64 games ever made (not quite on par with Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask but very close in my opinion). It covers the adventures of Goemon and his friends Ebisumaru, Yae and Sasuke as they try to stop the Peach Mountain Shoguns who are attempting to turn all of Japan into a stage. The game is hilarious and all round great fun featuring sound game play and a witty story and surreal humor. A true pleasure to play with a lot of memorable moments and a vast Overworld ripe for exploring. The game play consists of playing as the four main characters stated above, Goemon the titular Mystical Ninja, Ebisumaru (the over weight hammer ninja), Yae (the female secret agent ninja) and Sasuke (the mechanical legendary Ninja) switching between the four is easy and can be done at any time. Each wields three weapons which vary from pipes to swords to cameras. Each of the four can also use one magic power giving them extra strength, size swim or jumping abilities. The game features a good many bosses and about five primary dungeons but all lot of traveling and exploring in between (not tedious traveling though because you can summon a dragon to warp around Japan). There are also three points in the game featuring power ranger style giant robots fight (which gets me confused about the time era of the game since it appears to be medieval Japanese but the bad guys turn it into medieval European. As well as giant robots it mentions planes cars and other modern day things. They even go into space at the end which seems to be no big thing to them). Also comes with a nice sound track and did I mention it’s a very funny game? All round one of those games that I truly recommend you play. Made by Konami too which is on of the best thrid party designers. It also has a lot of Zelda (like elements like dungeon keys, maps, compasses, a flute to warp heart piece like things which you need to collect four of to actuly be usefull)
Red XIII
Edit
Red XIII is an unappreciated character from Final Fantasy VII. This game features some truly memorable characters which have gathered a lot of fan liking but nobody remembers the epicness of Red XIII. He's a lion dog like beast and the only quadrupedal playable character series. He is the last living member of an unnamed race which live about ten times longer then humans making him 48 years old but due to their longevity it makes him about 15 or 16 in human comparisons. Like most playable characters in that game he didn’t get nearly enough dialogue and had an interesting back story that was never expanded upon. Truly he is one of the unappreciated playable characters in video gaming.
The Legend of Zelda (NES)
Edit
This game is under appreciated. You might like the game but that is not enough. This game was the biggest ever step for video games since the invention of the controller and has remained the biggest step ever since. A lot of people play this game saying its pointless wondering around. The idea that you could wander around was unheard of before it. The idea that it was a top downer that didn’t involve moving constantly forward was unheard of before this game. The idea of a game that didn’t involve collecting up points before this was unheard of. The idea of collecting anything but points (like items and rupees) was unheard of. The idea of a game you could actually win and get to a The End screen was almost unheard of (Super Mario Bros was the first to do that). And probably the most important of all the fact that you could save, leave and come back and play it later on was also never heard of before this game. This game is now very old. Older then the majority of Zelda players myself included but I can appreciate what this game is like because I have played a lot of NES games. I came into the possession of a very special gameboy advance SP cartridge which featured 3 game boy advance games and 160 NES games. Coupled with other experience during the brief time I had a lend of a NES I know what caliber this game is. At the time of its creation this game was unarguable the best game ever created (only became debatable with the release of Zelda II). People complain about it having no story but the truth is no games had stories back then. Out of those 160 NES games only one non Zelda had a line of story related text and the was mach racer which was a racing game and only said something like "it’s an intergalactic race and you are a mach racer". Now a days games are very different but virtually everything you see now a days in gaming relates back to this game in some way. Today all games can save. All games involve a story of some sort. Most have some sort of collecting feature. This game didn’t just make the Zelda series. It created modern day gaming. Worship it!
Black pepper
Edit
I’m not joking with this one. This stuff is seriously underrated. It might not be the nicest spice but it goes with absolutely anything. Any hot food can be made just a tad nicer with this piece of magic with the exception of deserts and porridge. I mean it. Seriously try this stuff. Saffron is great but doesn’t usually work without rice. Garlic is godly but a bit too powerful and doesn’t go with everything either but this is the lord of all spice. There's a reason this it on all restaurant tables and other spices aren’t (although it’s usually next to salt of all things)
9
Edit
The number 9 is very unappreciated. It truly is one of the best numbers. My second favorite next to 7 (like everybody else I don’t know why I love it but I just do...32 is pretty great too). Not only is it the largest single digit number (and the only number in the biggest number {{99999etc}} and infinite isn’t a number it's a symbol) but also a square number and a spiritually important number in the east (in the west that’s been transcribed into cloud 9). But one of my favorite things about 9 is the fact that if you multiply it by any other single digit number the answer when added will always be 9. Example 9x2=18, 1+8=9 or 9x3=27, 2+7=9. All in all 9 is a pretty damn great number that needs to be used more.
Vaati
Edit

People complain about this guy as a villain. Sure he has a rudimentary back story that was only told in his third appearance, no clear motives outside of minish cap and no dialogue in four swords adventures but not all villains need these super back stories or in dept characters (although it usually is the formula for a good villain). Some times you just need a guy who’s evil just for the sake of being evil and he plays the evil part quite well. I wouldn’t be disappointed to see this guy in another game. In fact I think we need just one more four sword game (there is a plot hole in that timeline between minish cap and four swords) but one more would be enough.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Edit
Any one here who knows me well probably guessed this one was coming. This game was released less then a year after the first so most things said above also go for this one. But unlike the first game this one isn't ignored its plain hated by almost everyone, 40% of which haven’t even played this game and a 94% never even finishing it (I'd also like to point out that 60% of statistics are made up on the spot). I urge everyone to play this game as far as the forth dungeon and then stop and say you hate it because you most likely wont. True it is different to all other Zelda games but different doesn’t mean bad. The first Zelda game defined gaming but this game also achieved the prize of defining RPG's in general. I do not want this game to be as well known as the original nor does it matter to me if nobody likes it. I just want people to stop outright hating it especially does who haven’t even properly played it. Some people even want to make it non cannon! How can you make the game the first introduced magic, sword skills, Dark Link, Iron Knuckles, Hylian Knights, the Hammer, lantern and Towns (towns for god sake! it was the first game to feature towns with a full cast of intractable NPCs) non cannon?
Kōji Kondō
Edit
This guy is the god of legends. He has achieved what no other composer has in creating songs that can be listened on repeat indefinitely with out loosing their charm. Almost every good tune in the zelda series and many more are down to this guy. I recently made a poll on the best bowser theme all belong to him. He is by far the most valuable man in Nintendo and should be more renound then Miyamoto. Because music is the heart behind video games. If it wasn’t for perfectly arranged sound tracks games would not be a tenth there current epicness. Bodom bodom bodom...bodom bodom bodom. bodododododooooo. Bodom bodom bodom...bodom bodom bodom. bodododododooooo. Bodom bodom bodom...
Gleeok
Edit
He's a flippin two, three and four headed dragon. Best boss in the series.
Tetris
Edit
I feel almost as if I can’t put this up here since many people if not all have experience to glory of Tetris. But does everyone know about the dozens of legal battles fought over it and the secret ploy of communism that was involved with it? Does everyone know that it is positively healthy for brain power but if overplayed (which is very easy to do) leads to insanity and the constant viewing objects as blocks and trying to fit them in to place. Does everyone know that it’s the most ported game and exist on virtually any game console. Well now you do. Or you will if you research a bit I’m not bothered to tell you the whole story (which would double the size of my user page). What I can tell you is that this is the greatest game ever made (and by game I mean collectively all games board or computerized, which involve a single purpose which does not include higher forms of entertainment such as Zelda). What I said about improving the brain power is also true. It's been proven that playing this game for half an hour a day can give noticeable changes within thirty days (better then sudokou! Don’t quote me on that though I could be wrong). I only wonder whether it is better then chess or not. Hmmm.
Abraham
Edit
This guy is very under appreciated in my opinion. What who is he? He's only the founder of all mono-thesim. Many people credit the founder of their religion to Jesus or Mahamut but they didn't they reformed it making up their own rules. This guy was the one that actually founded it. Personally I wasn't born into any religion but guess 90% of the people here probably were and about 95% of them are mono theists or were born mono theists. Read up about him because there's probably a lot there you don't know about.
Yoshi's Story
Edit
This game along with Ocarina of Time will always symbolize my child hood. Looking at reviews now I see it was heavily criticized for not being anything like it's predecessor (which I haven't played yet) and a bit to easy. But I was four when I first played it so the difficulty didn't bother me and although there was only 24 levels I found it quite challenging to unlock everyone (especially since I kept on starting again for some reason). As far as side scrollers went it was one of my favorite with great music, nice game mechanics and a lot of available exploration. I have considered getting it again on VC since I no longer have the cartridge and I'm afraid I will be disappointed with it that and it costs a 100 points and there's a long line of games that on VC that I haven't played yet an want to. Some times memories are best left as memories. All in all I deem it a perfect game for children.
Alan Rickman
Edit
This guy is highly under appreciated in my books. In my opinion he is one of the best actors of this time. By far the best actor in the Harry Potter film series and single handed made the Michael Collins in his epic portrayal of Éamon de Valera. Had he taken the role of Trevelayan in Goldeneye that film would of been that bit more epic (although Sean did the best job a non Alan Rickman actor could do). This guy has been in dozens of films and has played dozens of characters from the menacing Tybalt to the Sheriff of Nottingham and even Metatron the voice of god himself. Indeed he has also stared in some of my favorite films such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Perfume The Story of a Murderer and The Chamber of Secrets. And you've got to commended the guys voice which alone lets him out act any other actor working at the moment. Remember Absomem in the recent Alice in Wonderland film? Yep that was him too. Despite the fact that he's sick of playing antagonists I want him to play more. How can you not love Judge Turpin and Antoine Richis when Snape is acting him. All in all Alan is one awesome guy despite the fact he isn't fictional, left handed, Irish or Japanese which are the kind of things I usually find myself worshiping.
Omicron
Edit
In all respects the Greek Alphabet is greater then all others because of its superior names and symbols. Many of it's letters have been incorporated into other languages and the symbols are used all over the place in maths. One of the only exceptions to this is the letter Omicron. Due to it's high similarities and identical symbol to O it is rarely used for anything in modern languages. Omicron might not be as supremely superior to everything else like Omega. It might not be as well known as the likes of Pi, sound as great as Sigma or symbolize as much as Psi but it is in all ways better then O and all other letters in that copycat Latin alphabet. Omicron is still among the twenty four best letters of all time and just because it isn't seen as much as the others doesn't mean it should have any less respect then the others. Certainly Omicron is one of the most under appreciated letters in this existence.
The Show Must Go On
Edit
Many of Queen's best songs have become very well known now a days even if many commoners don't know they are Queen songs. However I think the Show Must Go On is one of the exceptions to that. I truly believe this is an epic song yet I never hear it on the radio or even see it mentioned. Why is this epic song not as well known as the likes of Don't Stop Me Now and I Want To Break Free? Truly I see this as a hugely underrated song.
Self discovered short cuts
Edit
Here is a little list of the short cuts I discovered in the Zelda series and haven’t seen referenced to anywhere online. Some are quite useful while others are pretty minor.
- In The Wind Waker's wind temple, using the fire arrow you can burn the wood over the warping pot in the central room with out traveling up to it. This might take some careful positioning
- In Majora's Mask you can quickly scale Stone Tower by playing the Elegy of Emptiness on the first switch (bringing the first block over) then stand on the block and play it again (causing the block to return to the other side with Link hitching a lift)
- In Oracle of Seasons you can make the shortcut to Explorers Crypt without the Roc's Cape (by using Pegasus Seeds and the feather) thus eliminating the need for changing the season in the house above.
Ill put up some more when I can remember them (I have quite a few bu I useually only think about thm when playing the game)
- In Arbiter's Grounds you can get the bosses key with out the spinner by jumping over the sand pit and attacking as a wolf to stop sinking (hitting the wall can result in falling back into the sand pits center)
Trivia
Edit
I live in Ireland so take note of my time zone here on the wiki.
My favorite books are The Subtle Knife, Angels and Demons, The Roses of Razon, Dream Songs, and I Know This Much Is True.
My favorite films are House of Flying Daggers, Forest Gump, The Return of the King, The Lion King, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and the Chamber of Secrets
I have a reading power of above 400 pages per day.
I aspire to become a writer.
Yet as anyone here will notice, I dont pay much attention to spelling and never read over what I write (unless editing main space).
I tend to forget a lot but one thing I have the uncanny ability to remember is trivia.
I play the accordian and piano
I am left handed and have dedicated a sub user page to leftness
For unknown reasons I place twilight princess happening 300 years after ocarina of time. Why that amount of time? I just told you I dont know.
My brawl friend code is 0989-4763-6721.
When I first played the original the Legend of Zelda I didnt know you could banish the flames with your sword at the end, so I let them damage me then ran through them before full recovering while thinking it was very mean that you can only win if you have enough life left after the battle.
As a child I never use to call bosses, bosses. I called them Big Lads. Why? I'm not sure why, it was just something I called them. My brother also called them that and I'm not sure which of us started it. When did i stop using the term? I dont know. I know I dont use it now. Now I usually call them by their name. But as a child when I played Ocarina of Time there was only one boss I would call a boss was Morpha since he was the only one smaller then Link and thus not a big lad.
I can be greatly disturbed over little thing. One such thing is how some monster lie dead on the ground in spirit tracks for five seconds while I think "Dear god Link just killed something". The high pitched noise that occurs when a boss goes grey/black (just before he explodes) is another one of those things. It is funny as I have seen and played movies and games where people get decapitated yet this disturbs me more.
Because I am 15 times greater then human beings in all aspects I am also 15 times more proned to mistake. In fact this sentence your reading has no fewer then eighteen mistakes.
I have also removed the pointless human emotion of hatred from my body so any hateful comment you think I make is you over thinking things. I can however become angry and ragefull.
I believe the two greatest animals (after humans and Japanese people, who are higher beings) are Squirrels and Whales.
Greatest fruit ever are peaches. And the greatest drink ever is peach water (and thats counting alcholic bevrages too)
I like to point out pointless trivia such as all the above and below.
1 is not a prime number.
I hate people saying the Oracle Games were thrown together in a rush because people were looking for a new game. The game came out only a year after Majora's Mask and Four Swords game out a year later so people weren't begging for a new Zelda game. The designing in that game also looks like it took a lot of effort with such a complicated password system. Not to mention its magic ability to add another location when playing on a gameboy advance. And the overall story was better then most. The magical ring addition was also a nicely devised touch. In short this game has everything suggesting it was not made in a rush and had some people who liked the game making. Some of the best games were made in just over a year (Zelda II, Spirit Tracks, Final Fantasy IV and X).
I know 1 digit of pi, 3.
As of now I never plan on requesting adminship. The only thing that it would benefit me in would be deleting vandelish pages. I would be too soft when it comes to blocks and cant think of any situation where I would need to lock a page. The site already as a great staff of admins and doesnt really need anymore. And lets not mention my high mistake tendency.
I can swim at least 30 meters without surfacing.
My copy of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons can't fortune link. I think it might be because one is a NSTC cartridge and one is a PAL cartridge. The passwords still work though.
Theories
Edit
The theories I do/Dont believe
That I believe
Edit
- Deku Links spirit is the Deku Butlers son who was also the tree seen at the games beginging: I think the game drops enough hints.
- Poe Sales Man = Hyrule Guard: He's found on the same spot. I think its what they intended us to deduce.
- Shiek's Gender: Zelda = Female, Zelda = Shiek. Therefore Shiek = Female. However I think shiek should be addressed as male as thats what the character (but not person) is. so what I am saying is that he is a girl but should be adressed as a boy.
- Windfall is Karkiriko Village, Dragon Roost Island is Death Mountain and Forest Haven is the Lost woods: They're location in relation to the Ocraina of Time map also matches. I also think the fire mountain island is death mountain one of it seperate peeks (seen right before you enter the location where rocks fall at you in Ocrarina of Time). The fact that the grave where the song of passing is played and that the song is identical to song of the sun makes me believe it is the remains of Karkiriko village graveyard.
- The Ancient Shield (or Shield of Antiquity) is the Hero's Shield: You get it from Niko (Links friend), who says he got it from a friend (Link), plus its the same colour. Has a different design but Nintendo never keeps the same desgin for shields or swords throughout different games. An example is the Kokiri Sword which is vastly different in Majora's Mask.
- Fierce Deity is a god:His origenal name was something like angery god and a deity is much the same.
- Link is not mute: He is a very good Charades player who can tell people his exact meaning without moving or speaking. On a serious note Link can grunt, shout and make all sorts of noises something mutes cant do.
That I dont believe
Edit
- Happy mask sales man = Shiekha
- Minish cap is before all other zeldas Anouma says it is a pequel to Four Swords the oldest Zelda game but he also says in the exact same article he had noting to do with the game so wouldnt know where Four Swords fits in.
- Heros Shade = Hero of Time absoulutly no logic to this one (except he is left handed). He says my child which could mean anything. True one of those things is him being an ancestor of Link but link has other ancestors then just various Links. Plus Link wouldn't talk that much.
- Zora became Rito: The only and I mean only thing to support this is Laruto. I dont believe Medli is the physical desendent of Laruto. just like the seven maidens (who are all humoniod) arent the phyisical desendent of the seven sages.
- The man from the curiosity shop = man from the trading post: Why would he not wear a wig when working on the black market. In sense he would have the wig off when working the day job and on with shades while working in the curiosty shop. also he specificly appears at a certain time before ten (when it opens) at the same time he is at the trading post.
- Twili created Majora: I do not believe the twili created Majora's Mask. The Happy Mask Salesman mentions an acient race that has disapeared long ago. The twili did not disapear long before Majora's Mask and would of been well known to some one the age of the Happy Mask Salesman. I do however believe that the mask came from Hyrule. It is in the Happy Mask Salesman possession who comes from Hyrule. He discovered Termina by stalking Link. The Skull Kid brought it to termina because that's where he is from. The only thing to suggest it came from termina are the various pictures. But the Triforce is also seen a lot in Termina and we know that definetly comes form hyrule.
- Volviga = Stalord: It's a riduculas theory. Volvigas head is about the same size as a heart piece while stalords is as big as Jaba Jaba's
- Twinrova is one being that can split into two: The twinrova form looks oddly conjioned besides the arguing death scene proves there are two souls.
- Tetra Force: Offical statements can be a bit iffy and condrdict each other but if they go and completely redesign they Hylian Shield I think they are quite sure that it does not exsist.
- Mt Crenel = Death Mountain clearly they are no where near the same.
- World of the ocean king = Flooded Termina I just don't see this one making sense. The only connection is that neither are Hyrule. There's no familiar landscape or reccuring themes.
- The great sea deflooded someway allowing timelines to make sense: How can so much water just vanish. Besides the King wished for Hyrule to be washed away aka he wished it to be destroyed. Face it people the only hyrule after The Wind Waker is New Hyrule.
- Jabu Jabu = Jabun: Dont even see why people bother to believe this one. Jabu Jabu is a whale (even has the tail of a whale), Jabun is an angler fish. Jabu Jabu cannot talk and shows no interest into the current state of affairs in Hyrule, Jabun can and does. And for gods sake it says on Jabun's figurne that he was born on great fish isle (not Zora's Domain!)
That I am unsure of
Edit
- Split time line: I am quite sure about this one but not 100%
- Kaepora Gabora = Rauru: I am very mute on this one. As a child i hated the owl and for no reason loved rauru (as in declaring him my favorite character. I was only 5). now however i dont find rauru interesting at all yet have warmed to the owl and quite like him. so characters that i loved and didnt each makes me wonder. but i do see the similaritys to it and know why it is believed true but just lack of evidence makes me unsure.
- Ganondorf's trident was made by the Twili I see this very plausable but am still unsure.
- Twili: I am unsure about pretty much every theory around them. A lot of them do make sense but they do contradict each other. T think the most plausable one is that they were an order that consisted of many races. Although the one theory no one seems to of come up with is that they are an indipendent race un conected to any other race. To explain why they have shiekah and gerudo symbols could be that they stole ideas from other races. Its common.
- Zuna = Twili: I believe this is very possable but still do not plege to it 100%. there are similaritys mirror/trident/spell casting but it isnt clear how they would of escaped the twilight realm.
- Skull Kid (OoT) = Skull Kid (MM): I'm not sure. There are some hints but in Ocarina of Time he is still there seven years later and still wearing the skull mask. Maybe he did go to termina and came back and didn't steal Majoras Mask because something happened to the Happy Mask Salesman in the adult time line but that wouldn't explain why he doesnt wear the skull mask which he managed to keep for seven years, plus the Happy Mask Salesman is seen to be alive at the ending credits.
- Stone Tower Temple, an insult to the gods im about 30-70 on this one. 30% supporting it that is. I'm just not sure. it looks like people are over thinking things to me. Stil that doesnt mean its not plausable.
- Navi was the person Link was looking for in Majoras mask: Recent changes have made me reconsider this one.
Poll
Edit
Just some more things I want to know
I want you to really think about this one people (think hard and rmember Wind Waker's epicness or the very moral quotes of Majora's Mask and dont just pick your favorite game or Twilight Pincess right away)
Past poll result: Ricky is the best followed by Dimitri and Moosh (dang I voted Moosh)
- Hold is a better z target state
Medli is the best person to have with you in a dungeon followed by gongoron then makar (poor little ruto got no votes).
- Phantom Ganon is the best recurring boss
Zora are better then the Goron and Deku (I dont understand that one. Goron's are savage)
- Gamecube controller is the best controller ever (finnaly something i voted for won)
The Serenade of Water is the best ocarin of time warp song followed by a tied Bolero of Fire and Nocturne of Shadow. Requiem of Spirit is fourth and Minuet of Forest is fifth (prelude of Light was not added for various reasons)
- Either is the best medallion.
Leaf is the best PH Fairy (I think Neri is the best. Over double defense and increased shield power)
- Talon was the best Hero of Time actor.
Helpful IPs
Edit
Not all IPs vandilize. I've noticed from time to time some usefull edits by IPs and have ben meaning to list them for a while. Lik funniest edits ever I dont want suggestions I'd prefer to come across them myself. If ever there's a vote to stop IP editing this little list might come in useful.
- Helping Arrows
- Many people dont like that boss, I do
- IPs removing theory? Can that happen?
- Why did an IP have to remove this one?
- Indeed they are
- DOOM!
- More doom
- Four Swords Adventures
- I think I'd remember it too if he did
- Sometimes they just like to talk and rarely they're right in what they say
- My god I've never seen an IP do so much editing
- Heartfelt
- Indeed it is, I remember that day well
- I find it strange this wasn't done earlier
- It's not the only name he did. Also makes me happy because I've wondered for a while if either the European or American names are closer to the Japaneses names. Turns out everybody improvised
- Spin
- Turns out there's a reason for that but still its the thought that counts
- How musical
- Insectastic
- Dont forget Skyward Sword
- I dont think thats needed either
- Wow Bow
- Editwell's well edited
- Creamy
- That is the way we do things
- Not a perfect edit and I'm not even sure if we need that section but they do have good intentions
- Sure it was probably an IP that first added it but that doesn't take away from the fact that an IP actually removed it
- I shudder to think how long that was there
- Spirit form? Spirit shaped, yeah we don't know what Ganondorf is doing there so its best not to speculate
- I just love random people who love Zelda II
- Ips reverting Ips
- He's right you know
- I believe that is correct
- Too true, should have been linked as soon as the page was made
- Egadd! He's right! Such a fundamental mistake. How could I have been so blind?
- Good catch
- I'm guessing that was a copy and paste fail on someones part, but wow good catch IP, he didn't even double link Bow of Light
- Running out of remarks to say on these
- How long was that even there?
- That sentence certainly made the item seem completely pointless.
- Small change but much more accurate
