Enemies Edit

Fireball Edit

Unused sprites were found for a fireball-type enemy in The Minish Cap's data. It is unknown where Fireballs were meant to be found or what their method of attack was going to be.

Zol Edit

Unused sprites for Zols were found in The Minish Cap's data. It is unknown where Zols were meant to be found or what their method of attack was going to be.

Items Edit

Blue Top Piece and Blue Bottom Piece Edit

Information about two items called the Blue Top Piece and Blue Bottom Pieces can be found in the game's text. It appears the name is referring to Kinstone pieces; in the game's beta stage, Kinstone pieces were broken in half horizontally as opposed to the final game, in which they are split vertically. This would also suggest that both halves of the Kinstone could be obtained; in the final game, Link can get only the left half of a Kinstone. They were to be sold for 30 Rupees each.

Butter Edit

Using the following Codebreaker code, Link can put Butter in all of his Bottles.

Butter restores all of Link's health. According to the text found within the game's data, Link would use an unknown method to turn Lon Lon Milk into Butter.

Fire Rod Edit

According to the Wizzrobe figurine and text found in the game, the Fire Rod was meant to be an item in The Minish Cap. The game has a script of Link obtaining the item and has a price tag of 350 Rupees. It appears that the Fire Rod may have been a replacement or upgrade for the Flame Lantern found in the Temple of Droplets.

Giant Hammer Edit

An item called the Giant Hammer appears within the game's data. It is unknown where the Giant Hammer would have been found or how it could be used.

Green Top Piece and Green Bottom Piece Edit

Information about two items called the Green Top Piece and Green Bottom Piece can be found in the game's text. It appears the name is referring to Kinstone Pieces. They were to be sold for 30 Rupees each.

Magic Boomerang Edit

In the game's text, the Magical Boomerang is referred to as the Magic Boomerang and it has a price tag of 350 rupees. This would suggest it could be purchased at the Hyrule Town Shop as an upgrade to the Boomerang as opposed to fusing Kinstones with Tingle and his brothers in the final version of the game.

Mega Crush Edit

Another item called the Mega Crush was found within the game's data. It is unknown where the Mega Crush would have been found or how it could be used.

Mirror Shield Edit

Text found within The Minish Cap's data suggests that the Mirror Shield was meant to be be purchased instead of obtained from Biggoron; it was likely meant to be purchased from the Hyrule Town Shop as an upgrade. The Mirror Shield had a price of 350 rupees.

Information about two items called the Red Top Piece and Red Bottom Piece can be found in the game's text. It appears the name is referring to Kinstone Pieces. They were to be sold for 30 Rupees each.

Biggoron's Dungeon Edit

Interestingly, the game's text names a dungeon called Biggoron's Dungeon. The name is mentioned only once, however, and no other information is given.

Unused Dungeon Edit

If the codebreaker code 33000BF4 0040 is used on the game, Link will appear in a dungeon very similar to the Royal Crypt. However, due to the content being unused, Link cannot move around through the rooms and so only their bottom half can be seen. The dungeon seems to include a boss room, a room with buttons and bridges that must be run across with the Pegasus Boots, and a room with a Block puzzle. Whether or not this unused dungeon is what was meant to be Biggoron's Dungeon is unknown. Interestingly, the sprites used for the dungeon are somewhat similar to those found in Dark Hyrule Castle and the Royal Crypt.

On a seemingly normal day like any other, a young boy called Minish Link set off on an adventure to the Palace of Twilight in search of legendary text shadowing. Upon reaching the Mirror Chamber, he used the Mirror of Twilight to reach the Twilight Realm and invaded the palace. After killing the current king and queen of the realm, he stole their secret —shadowy text— and escaped. He then lived happily ever after in a small home filled with Ordon Goat Cheese with his slave, Vire.
