Welcome one, welcome all, to the club of Wizzrobes. The basis for this club is rather simple: Worship/Respect/Promote/Discuss/Theorize about Wizzrobes. If you wish to become a member, simply ask, and you should be allowed in. Being in the club has no restrictions, you don't have to use specific talk bubbles or whatnot, you can be in other clubs, you don't have to contribute much, and you don't have to jump hoops for rank. The only requirement is that you view the page while you are on, and contribute every now and again (so we can confirm that you are active). Beyond that, do what you what you feel necessary. If you are talented at doing certain things to contribute to the club, then go to the Current Projects section and see if you can help out this growing club.
This is VERY important. The original idea for the club came from the idea to make a club dedicated to thinking up fights for the Temple of Courage. The idea has branched out, but this still stands. There will be a section where we have ideas for fights involving Wizzrobes and related enemies, you can contribute to this as you feel necessary. There are a few things to be aware of, however: Do not randomly suggest fights, we don't want to be obnoxious about putting fights in the Temple of Courage; Do not vote for a fight JUST because it has a Wizzrobe in it, a bad fight with a wizzrobe would be worse than not having a fight with a Wizzrobe; think fights out before you even put them here. We want to promote Wizzrobes, but, if we overly promote them, people will think that our group AND Wizzrobes are obnoxious.
As previously mentioned, you don't have to stay with this club solidly. You can be in this and others, if they don't mind. I encourage going to other groups, especially organized operations that are purely benevolent, such as Operation: Wake the Wind made by Watcher. NEVER talk down upon members of other clubs simply because you are in this one.
This guild a a very flexible club, and we desire to be allies with other clubs. Simply ask you you will be allowed to be an ally. As members of this club, you are encouraged to help or join other guilds/clubs.
As a member, there are certain ways you are expected to act. In Our Club Pages Refer to higher ranking members by their title, then their name. Use talk bubble for your rank (once code page is made). Be civil, cold, and aloof when talking to lower ranking members and visitors (not rude, but act like a Wizzrobe might to an ally). In All Pages Be polite and follow all guidelines. Outside of our club pages, you don't have to use the talk bubble for your rank. Be respectful to others opinions and ideas.
Leaders Address to the Hall (Grandmaster only)Edit
Very few people are using the talk bubbles that were programmed for their rank. Besides uberphoeb, whom is a special rank that has no talk bubble, no one is excused from this. There will be no punishment, but please, the purpose of the talk bubbles is to talk in the Hall of Wizzrobes. You don't have to use them elsewhere. The Talk bubbles can be found here
So far, things have been going well with the club. Unfortunantly, our red wizzrobes have been making very little contributions. Remember Red Wizzrobes, by the end of the week two of you will be promoted to Master Wizzrobe, and one of them will be intitled to a special privledge next week.
Ok, in the previous comment, I said that two Red Wizzrobes will be promoted to Master Wizzrobe. Many great red wizzrobes have been regular contributers to the guild. It was a very hard decision. My choices for the first two Master Wizzrobes are... UberPhoeb and Lisa URAQT. To those of you whom think this was unfair, I will explain my choices. UberPhoeb has been a regular contributer, and has made an archives for this page. Lisa URAQT has shown great dedication to the guild, and I feel is working very hard. Taking this position is a great responsibility, which is why I felt that some people may be to busy to take this role. For example, Watcher was another person I was strongly considering. I chose to not promote him, because he has his own operation to deal with. So don't think it is because I dislike you that you didn't get promoted. Also...This is the BIG news. Starting Sunday , I must take a temporary leave of abscence. Because of events in Real Life, I will not be returning fully to the guild until the Monday after next week. I cannot leave the guild leaderless, so the Master Wizzrobes will take turns being the Grandmaster. Until thursday, UberPheob will be the first temporary Grandmaster. On thursday (and part of friday) I will return and Lisa URAQT will be the next temporary Grandmaster. They will use my talk bubble (grandmaster) until I return on monday. If things change, I will say so.
This is my one day back home...yay... Things seem to have been going ok, even though there needs to be more activity, especailly recruiting. The second week of Questions needs to have started. Whomever was the leader needs to switch out to the other Master Wizzrobe. Keep up the good work, be back on sunday night.
The guild theme song poll is currently underway. Vote for which song you think should be our anthem. There are samples under the poll. In order to create more publicity for the guild, various ideas have been thrown around. Look at the discussion page, for more details on the discussion, and input your suggestions. As some of you know, two members have recently been banned. I do not tolerate behavior such as this, and if I see it done by any of you, I will remove you from the guild, and if it is a bannable offense, I will report you to an admin. Such behavior reflects poorly on us, so simply DON'T DO IT.
Happy Birthday to me... as of July 6th I have aged another year. I would invite you to the party and offer you cake but... you broke my heart, tore me to pieces, and threw all the pieces into a fire. Besides, the cake is a lie. I am, of course, jesting, and, if you didn't know, every bit of that is a reference to Portal, including and especially the ending theme song. I was away for a week, which is why I have not been as active as usual, but I am back now. Updates for the week... A new club, the Temple of Stalfos, has been recently created by one of our members, please support them. Please, put down new suggestions in our suggestions area, and questions in our questions of the week section. Besides that, keep up activity.
I highly doubt that many members still remain since I took my leave of absence. I do admit that, for a while, I simply lost interest and started playing more games. I may or may not start a period of strong activity. Hello again to all my old friends, and nice to meet you to the new ones.
The Ranks in the guild do not give you any more rights/privileges than other members, but instead recognizes you as someone who may have been around for a time, or has made special contributions. Wizzrobe and Wizrobe are the same rank, but Wizrobe deals a lot more with helping newer members and gets a different talk bubble. Ranks are signified by a userbox in the userbox section of that users page. If you think someone's rank is to high, then check the history and make sure a valid member bestowed that rank. Besides the preliminary rank, All ranks must be given by a member of at least Yellow Wizzrobe rank. You can only promote someone up to one rank below you. Ranking also determines if you can invite someone. Only Yellow Wizzrobes and above can formally invite new members. Promotions occur quickly. After one three days of being active and loyal, you immediately qualify for rank two. After 4 more days, you qualify for rank three. 5 more days and you qualify 4. After one more week you qualify to be a Wizzrobe, and from there, ranks are merit based. Demotions only occur with Yellow Wizzrobe or higher, and ONLY if they have been abusing/misusing powers to give higher/lower ranks or inviting people that are not approved for invitation. Also, Admins, founders, and other notable club leaders are automatically granted the rank of Red Wizzrobe. Long time contributers to Zeldapedia are automatically granted the Rank of Sorcerer, and only have to wait a few days to become a full Wizzrobe. Yellow Wizzrobes and above can invite anyone that has been a Zeldapedia member for a little while and they have been benevolent in general. ONLY invite a person once, and don't invite people to the point it is spam. Consider and debate to yourself whether they would be willing to join, and only invite them once you are sure, or they request to be invited.
You can find the templates at Hall of Wizzrobes/Templates
The first four ranks are entry level ranks, and, unless there is great reason otherwise, the member will be promoted eventually. The Rank of Wizzrobe/Wizrobe is the vetern/full-member rank. From Dabbler, it should take approximately a week to be promoted to wizzrobe. I, and other recruiters, will base your entry level rank on various things such as your activity level, your consistancy to helping Zeldapedia, your Edit Count, and a few other things. Sorcerer is the highest entry level rank and is given to veterns of Zeldapedia upon entry. Dabbler is for the truly new people to Zeldapedia.
These will be the pictures for the rank, as of now...they will probably be changed later on. There are pictures wee need of enemies such as Wizrobe from Majora's mask or something that will suffice for Yellow Wizzrobe
These are the weekly questions. They will be a variety of questions pertaining to Wizzrobes. Theories, facts, etc. will be asked, and answers might even become mentioned in the theory section. There can be a max of 4 questions.
Midna Rocks– I am a Yellow Wizzrobe in the Hall of Wizzrobes, just beginning my path to leadership in the Hall of Wizzrobes. TALK– 12:25, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Any Wizzrobe, any game. My favorite is the Red Wizzrobe from the wind Waker. (yeah, I know this isn't a great question but im just trying to get some activity in here! This place has been like a ghost town lately!)
The founders/fellow guild leaders/admins of the guild automatically attain the Red Wizzrobe rank. Others begin at Dabbler, or if they have been long contributers to Zeldapedia, they are awarded the rank of Sorceror.
Dialask77– I am the sorceror of ice... TALK– 21:24, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
As many of you know, I am Dialask77, founder of the Guild, Wizzrobe Fan, etc. Put down a talkbubble/signature along with a short introduction of yourself.
I'm Lisa URAQT (though you've probably figured out how to spell my name, it's pronounced Lisa you are a (q)cuTie [it's a pun, hoping the blue letters might clarify it a bit]), but everyone just calls me Lisa. I'm super excited about this club, because I always liked wizzrobes, always wished I could do sorcery like them... anyways, looking forward to everything the Hall of Wizzrobes will be doing!
I am Watcher, and I am using my powers of Wizzroby to aid me in my job as Watcher. Could someone fix this box for me? It's on Template:WATCHER2. And I'm not loged in, am I?
I am Midna Rocks and incase anyones wondering, I do not have a talk bubble (other than the mage one I use here but it did'nt seem right to use it in introductions). My favorite wizzrobe was the red wizzrobe mini-boss in the wind waker.
Moblin slayer– You can take me, the grave can take me, the earth is waiting to eat us alive... TALK– Yeah...
For those of you who don't know me, I am Moblin slayer, though you can call me Mob for short. I am a sorcerer.
Debate what name you think the group should have Dialask77 Ice Wizard 02:53, 29 May 2009 (UTC).
Maybe the Wizzrobe guild would be a good name? [[User:Oni Dark Link|Oni Dark Link 11:58, 29 May 2009 (UTC) ]]
I think it needs something with a cool acronym...that is why for now it is called Hall of Wizzrobes (HoW). Wizzrobe guild/club etc would be (WG/WC)... a little generic in my opinion. Perhaps we will pick a name like that in the end. Anyway, once we get a few name suggestions, there will be poll to determine it. Dialask77 Ice Wizard 12:30, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
I would say the Hall of Wizzrobes is a good name in itself. Midna Rocks
I honestly think Hall of Wizzrobes seems too funeral-ish. I would like something like Wizzrobe Order, something that sounds magey. Thats just my personal opinion... UberPhoeb! 01:08, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm the go-with-the-flow kind of guy on (relatively) irrelevant stuff like this but I think the Hall of Wizzrobes does sound like a good name. Sounds like a magical Hall of Fame to me.
Hmm... Maybe we could put the two names together? "The Hall of the Order of Wizzrobes" or something? (yes I know that name is terrible but I couldn't come up with anything else but the general idea is the same.)
Hall of Wizzrobes is good. So is Order of Wizzrobes. Im stuck between those two. ........ The Hall of Wizzrobes works i guess. no need to change anything.
I think we can call this. It looks to me like all of the members have voted, and that they want to keep it. Or is this not done yet?

This is odd, we have 12 votes on the poll, but only 11 members, hmmm...

I have managed to get an image of a single Blaaz w/o the background of the dungeon. Does anyone think we could/should use this instead of the three small Blaaz's? If anyone does, I'll upload the image.
Since ther's no area for this yet I thought I may as well make a spot for it, put your suggestions below and members can comment as well as suggest it.

Good idea, although Grandmaster Dialask has been suggesting this since before I made an account. (He suggested it this week and it's doing really well.)
Why is it that wizzrobes seem to be some of the only beings that know magic and that majority of them are evil? Is there a possible relation between these two things?
Actually, I have thought about this before, but I think I have another answer. Actually there are a few possibilities. One is that they could be demons, bound to service by ganon. More likely, however, is that they were humans that lost their humanity somehow, and became a large orginization. They were cold, and only thought of things in numbers or possibliites. So, when they picked sides, the evil side happened to be in a better position than the good side. So they thought logically and joined ganon. Or perhaps, they sought greater arcane knowledge, and ganon promised to assist them with the triforce of power. Also, they are NOT the only beings that use magic. Link, the Ancient Sages, Sages, the Oracles, the Wizards (Zelda II), the Gerudo (somewhat), the Sheikah, Fairies, deities, and a few other groups have been widely seen using magic. They are rarely seen in combat, however, so it is unknown whether they can compete with wizzrobes
Flashpenny– I am a loyal Red Wizzrobe of the Hall of Wizzrobes, one of the highest most immaculate ranks TALK– 13:03, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
You know Dialask part of the theory can be contradicted. First off I sincerely doubt that they're bound to loyalty to Ganon. We saw several of them mingling among the armies of Bellum, Vaati and possibly Majora (it's debatable as to whether or not Majora actually controlled all the monsters in Termina or if they were just acting solo).
Also I know that I'm probably going to be kicked out of (or at the very least suspended from) the club for saying this but we have just about as much basis for wondering where the Wizzrobes came from as to where Deku Babas, Magtails, Skulltullas, Stalchildren, Deku Nuts, Pea Hats, Dodongos, Lizalfos, Octoroks, River Zoras and every other enemy in the LoZ series came from except for those that are given an actual origin (e.g. Stalfos in OoT, ReDeads).
It was only a Possiblility that they are demons bound to whatever (ganon was just the easist example at the time). No, you won't be kicked out, suspended, attacked, etc. for wondering about the origins of other species besides wizzrobes. But other things seem more predictable than wizzrobes. Deku Babas - Mutated (maybe by magic) plant life Magtail - insectoid mutated to life in extreme heat skulltullas - Advanced evolution upon spiders with an exoskeleton stalchildren - children/kokiri dead possessed by dark magic pea hats - another plant mutation Dodongos - Lizard evolution to exist in extreme heat Lizalfos - Lizard mutation (possibly by dark magic) to become more human like Octoroks - Fish/amphibian mutation that collects sand and forms it into rocks River Zora - Mutation/devolution of zora life (possibly by dark magic). Unlike all of those, what can be said about Wizzrobes? They seem to have their roots (unlike almost every other zelda monster) in humans. So what are they? (also note that the examples are just my thoughts about what they are without any research or etc.)
I think that they are humans who have learned magic by one means or another, and are hostile to Link because, either they work for Gannondorf(Gannon), Vaati, Majora, etc., and they are ordered to attack him. Yet another possiblity is that they work for another group or organization, and that group is working for the main villians in the game or, Link has gotten in the way with something that they were doing. (these are just simple ideas that I have about Wizzrobes).
