Daniel was born in Hyrule Castle Town (Twilight Princess) , but when Zant rose to power( See Zant's Invasion of Hyrule), his parents led a fearsome crusade against him. Unfortunately, his parents died in the struggle. It is rumoured that Princess Ruto carried him back to Zora's Domain where his parents were freinds with the Queen, Rutela.

Daniel was then born and raised in Zora's Domain, But when Zora's Domain froze, Daniel fled to Kakariko Village and stayed there ever since. His home and all his possesions were in Kakariko Village. But when the Hero of Time saved Zora's Domain, he returned and lived there once again. Ever since he was old enough to travel by himself, he has been traveling around Hyrule, searching for anyone who knew his parents. The Zora's have not told him how his parets died.

Daniel also has Fierce Deity's Mask which the Hero of Time used to beat Bosses in Termina. The Hero of Time was said to have given this mask ti Daniel (See Rumours for more details). Daniel has used this mask to defeat many enemies while traveling.

Rumour has it that Daniel can transorm into a Zora, unlike the Hero of Time, who wore Zora Armor, allowing him to breathe and swim like a Zora. Daniel is rumoured to actually be a Zora using a Mask with special powers.

The Zora Mask is rumoured to transform anyone who wears it into a Zora. The Hero of Time is rumoured to have used this mask while saving Termina.

Daniel is now rumoured to be in Ordon Village, where his parents were rumoured to have stayed for a while. It is also rumoured that on his travels that he met Link who was on his way to Hyrule Castle (Twilight Princess).

Daniel is rumoured to have met The Hero of Time during his travels, when they met, Link was said to have given Daniel The Fierce Deity's Mask and then left, never to be seen again.
