Nobody knows where Ascended Wolf (then called Abraham) was born in Hyrule in the time before the Great Flood. He was 17 when the decision was made to flood Hyrule and the goddess Din made the decision to ascend him to the deity level of Spirit and make him immortal. He was deemed to be the Guardian Spirit of the Wolves and given the ability to turn into a wolf at will. In wolf form Ascended Wolf led all the wolves of Hyrule in a great migration to the mountains. When the rains poured down a caused the Great Flood those mountains were almost entirely submerged and created "Wolf Fang Isle". He now lives there as the caretaker of the island as well as the Alpha Male of the wolf pack which resides there. No human besides him has ever sat foot on this "wolf holy ground".

In his Hylian form Ascended Wolf will sometimes travel to a far off land where a group highly intelligent humans and Hylians (among many other races) are working on an encyclopedia about Hylian History called the Zeldapedia. Ascended Wolf specializes in information about the era when Link was the Waker of Winds (Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker).
