The Twilit Bloat is a mini-boss from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is the biggest of all the Shadow Insects and last holder of a Tear of Light in the game. It is battled in Lake Hylia in the Lanayru Province.

Strategy Edit

The Twilit Bloat is fought on temporary floating platforms on Lake Hylia and must be fought with the sense view on in order to see it. When the Twilit Bloat is fully electrified, it will charge at Link, and can only be attacked when the electricity has dispersed. Link, in wolf form, must leap onto it and bite it during this short period. After a while, it falls into the water on its back, and Link must destroy all of its tentacles by using Midna's energy field. After it is defeated, the tear it held is released and, when collected, the last of the Twilight is purged from Lanayru Province.
