Treasure Charts are recurring items in the Legend of Zelda series. They are a special type of Sea Chart Link can find that lead to Treasure Chests containing various items that will benefit him on his quests.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Treasure Charts are usually found as treasure in dungeons or from other side-quests as a reward. Locations of sunken Treasure Chests are marked on the charts, and by using the Grappling Hook, Link can fish for them from the King of Red Lions. The 41 Treasure Charts in the game lead to chests containing Rupees, a Piece of Heart, or a special Sea Chart. The Treasure Charts will cause the treasure they lead to to emit a tower of light to help Link find the treasures' locations.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Treasure Charts are also found in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. These charts lead to chests that usually contain Ship Parts and Sand of Hours to be added to the Phantom Hourglass. The chests can be retrieved at the location corresponding to a red X on the Treasure Charts by using the Salvage Arm on the S.S. Linebeck.
