- "Of course, the thing about this Tingle guy is that when it comes time to pay his deciphering fee, you'd better be ready to fork over some serious dough. Anyone who doesn't have a deep wallet won't be reading any maps, that's for sure."

Tingle Island is a location from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. A small island on the Great Sea (square C3), it is the residence of Tingle and his brothers, Ankle, Knuckle and David Jr.. Also on the island is the Tingle Tower, a spinning totem pole-like tower.
Tingle can be found on Tingle Island after Link rescues him from the jail on Windfall Island. When Link needs him to translate Triforce Charts, he can visit the island to speak with Tingle. Also, Link can warp to the island by playing the "Ballad of Gales" on the Wind Waker.
Interestingly, the shape of the island, as seen from the Great Sea map, bears resemblance to the shape of Tingle's and his siblings' heads.
An 8-Bit version of Tingle Island appears as a square on both the Great Sea Adventure Mode map and Master Wind Waker DLC Adventure Map.
