- "Found in desert habitats, these winged monsters are attracted to dark places, such as caves. Their internal organs generate electricity for attacking prey. They often gather in colonies, are active at night, and sleep in the day. Those who come too close and awaken them often fall victim to attack."

Thunder Keese are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. They are Keese with inner organs that generate electricity, used for attacking Link. Thunder Keese are found in the Lanayru Desert region.
Thunder Keese act like normal Keese, except that their attacks are electrically charged. They will flap around Link briefly, and if not attacked, will draw back and charge themselves before swooping down to tackle him. Attacking with the sword when they are charged will shock Link. If they attack Link's Iron Shield or any of its upgrades while charged with electricity, the shield will break. When defeated, they sometimes drop Monster Claws.
