Consistency

To keep this consistent with Rito Harp, and since it's conjectural anyway, should it be moved to Korok Violin? Peanutjon (talk) 13:43, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

It might even not been Makar's but Fado's Violin. Makar's figurine says that despite Makar using it as a cello, it's actually a violin, and Fado actually uses this same instrument as a violin. Jeangabin (talk) 13:48, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

But wouldn't that make it a Kokiri Violin? Yet it's not a Zora Harp.

Just because he uses it as a cello doesn't make it not a violin - you can use a violin in any way you want and it's still a violin. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck, even if you use it as a back-scratcher. Peanutjon (talk) 16:24, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

What I meant is that Makar's figurine description implies this instrument originally belonged to someone (Fado) who used it as what it actually is, a violin. Not to Makar who uses it as a cello. Jeangabin (talk) 21:18, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

I support this move. with the Rito Harp getting an official name, I feel that this one should follow a similar naming convention at least until something official comes along.

I deeply apologize for the belated response from the staff team. But to explain the situation here, the Rito Harp page was only named as such because Hyrule Warriors gave it that name, and we used it in lieu of any other name. It's the same thing with the Scimitar of Twilight, we got the name from Hyrule Warriors for an otherwise unnamed object. "Korok Violin" is not an actual valid name used in any of the games, so Makar's Violin would be preferred here. - Midoro ^{(T C)} 03:14, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
