Pirate Leader, Tetra (テトラ Tetora?, Hylian THylian EHylian THylian RHylian A) is a playable character from Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends. Captain of Tetra's Pirates in the Era of the Great Sea, Tetra finds herself transported to Hyrule in an alternate timeline due to the warping of time and space.

Tetra is an incarnation of Princess Zelda born and raised on the Great Sea. Through her adventures with Link, she discovers her destiny as the wielder of the Triforce of Wisdom. She eventually leaves the old kingdom of Hyrule to be lost and establishes the kingdom of New Hyrule in a distant land.

Hyrule Warriors Legends

War Across the Ages

In Hyrule Warriors Legends, after the defeat of Ganon, Phantom Ganon steals the Triforce of Power from Lana and uses it to warp time and space, causing islands and the places from the Era of the Great Sea to appear in Hyrule. As a result of the warping of space and time, Tetra and King Daphnes find themselves in an alternate timeline version of Hyrule.

A New Disturbance

On Windfall Island, Tetra walks on to a bluff and is confused by the sight before her. As a result of the dimensional event, Tetra became separated from her crew and ended up fighting monsters in a merged version of the Forsaken Fortress (which had merged with Dragon Roost Island, Star Island, and Windfall Island). Fortunately, Link of the Era she found herself in had been sent by Impa and the Zelda of that era to investigate the disturbance. Though strangers to one another, she and Link could agree on one thing: the monsters Tetra was battling had to be defeated. So they decided to joined forces to defeat the Monster Forces lead by Boss Blin. When Boss Blin and his forces drive Helmaroc King from the Fortress, Tetra and Link must drive off the Great Bird from Windfall, while dealing with attacks from the Monster Forces. After defeating a Gohma, they manage to stop the Monster Forces from reinforcing their troops by taken three keeps within the fortress and defeat Boss Blin. However Tetra wonders where Helmaroc King had gone off to. After the battle, Link looks up in the sky and spots Helmaroc King flying in the sky. Eventually he notices Tetra in its talons and races off to save his new ally.

Tetra Saber &amp; Pistol (Hyrule Warriors)

Raised by her pirate captain mother and her mother's crew, Tetra is a skilled seafarer and pirate. Having taken over as leader of her late mother's pasting, Tetra is capable captain and leader, despite her young age. As a swashbuckling pirate, Tetra fights primarily with Cutlasses and magically-infused pistols capable of firing bullets made of water. She is a talented gunslinger, to the point she can spin a pistol around with her finger. A skilled swordswoman, she can even perform the Spin Attack. Like her ancestors, Tetra is also capable magic user and archer. She also possesses Triforce of Wisdom from the Era of the Great Sea separated into two pieces, which she can combine to produce a burst of energy. Like Princess Zelda, Tetra has wisdom beyond her years. As a pirate, she is knowledgeable about infiltrating secure locations and how to sneak around undetected. She is also skilled at using catapults and in her battle intro she launches a herself inside a barrel before skillfully jump on top of it mid-flight and then jumping to the ground, pulling out her cutlass and pistol to fight. Due to her connection with the Royal Family of Hyrule, Tetra is aware of the various legends relating to the lost kingdom of Hyrule and items such as the green tunic worn by the Hero of Time and could recognize the legendary Blade of Evil's Bane, which she herself briefly wielded (proving she has a pure heart untainted by evil) while she was in the form of Princess Zelda. Before her encounter with Ganondorf, Tetra and her crew had been apparently been searching for the Triumph Forks (a mistranslation of the word Triforce) an legendary ancient treasure said to exist at the bottom of the Great Sea (which was later discovered by Toon Link to be the pieces of the Triforce of Courage), indicating she possessed some knowledge of the Triforce, though was unaware that the necklace she inherited from her mother was actually a piece of the Triforce of Wisdom until it was revealed to her by her ancestor, Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. In addition to her mother's necklace, Tetra also possesses enhanced version of a Gossip Stone known as the Pirate's Charm, which she uses to communicate with Toon Link. As a pirate and leader of her crew, she is an capable seafarer and sailor capable of navigating the vast ocean of the Great Sea.

Dark Tetra is a Dark shadowy doppelgänger of Tetra that appears as an enemy in Hyrule Warriors Legends Adventure Mode. She uses the same moveset and drops the same Materials as Tetra.
