The Temple of Fire is the first dungeon that Link visits in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Although the name is very similar, it is not thought to have any relation to the Fire Temple other than the temple has a fire theme.

[edit] Location
It is located on the Isle of Ember, near the summit of the volcano. As such, the dungeon contains dangerous lava and fire. It is only accessible through a door that only Astrid can unlock. Once she is saved, Link moves on to the temple.
[edit] Story
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Link travels to the Isle of Ember to seek out the fortune-teller, Astrid. After saving her, she tells his fortune, informing him that he must defeat the evil inside the temple.
Non-canon warning: Non-canonical information ends here.
[edit] Dungeon
The dungeon has two floors. It is mainly linear, with few surprises. Most puzzles revolve around using the newly found Boomerang to hit switches.
[edit] Items
These items are found in the Temple of Fire:
- The Boomerang
- A Heart Container
- Some Sand of Hours, though Link does not know it yet.
[edit] Enemies
The following enemies are found in the Temple of Fire:
- ChuChu
- Red
- Electric
- Zol
- Red Bubble
- Keese
- Octorok
Most of these enemies act as they normally do, but the lone Octorok acts peculiarly. It does not move at all, and fires rocks at a higher rate than normal.
[edit] Boss
The boss, Blaaz, must be defeated with the Boomerang. It is the evil that Astrid told Link about, and it is a wizard. It splits into three smaller wizards after seeing Link. Using the map and the boomerang, Link can reunite it into one vulnerable wizard. Link must first hit the one with the one horn one the map. then he must hit the one with the two horns and so on and so on.
Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here.
