The Tempered Sword is a sword from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. If Link rescues one of the Dwarven Swordsmiths trapped in the Dark World and returns him to the Light World, they will offer to temper his Master Sword for a reduced fee at their Smithery. After some time has passed, Link receives the Tempered Sword. The sword deals as much damage as three normal sword strikes. Unlike the other weapons, this is an optional sword.
