Hylian? Or Human?[]
I am curious as to why the Old Man is labeled as Hylian even though there is specific mentioning of him being Hylian, especially with the advent of round-ear humans and the fact there are multiple old men in Zelda. This is most egregious with the Old Man in Breath of the Wild. We have no clear visual of his ears and I've seen this man being debated as either a Hylian, a Sheikah, or a Gerudo.Shadao (talk) 02:19, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- He might be labeled as Hylian because of his TAoL artwork. Something to keep in mind is that the page is also quite old and hasn't been extensively updated. Since the old men seem to vary between games, it might be more fair to mention both Hylian and Human and add ExpGame footnotes to denote which games that applies to. For characters where we cannot see their ears, such as the old men in Oracles and BotW, those default to Human. - Midoro (T C) 05:44, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
