Hang on...if the Pirate Captain is from the past, yet he appears in Oracle of Seasons, which takes place in the future, does that mean he can just live forever (or at least a really really long time)? Doesn't this also mean that he would stay the same age while Ambi gets older, and apparently be alive at the same time as some of his descendants (...which he did apparently, if he's alive in the present when Ralph happens to also be alive)? For that matter, how do he and Ambi have descendants in the first place if he's a skeleton? For that matter, how did they end up falling in love in the first place? This entire thing with the Pirate Captain and Queen Ambi confuses me so much...
Actually it's not clear when OoS takes place in respect to OoA. It really depends which game is played first. Anyway he's an undead pirate, which combine like the two most bad*** things. Being undead I doubt he has a life span. He likely fell in love with Ambi when he was alive. Either it takes a veeerrrrry long time to get to holodrum from labrynna or he was there for quite a while before the game began.
id say hes been there a long time before the game starts since hes in the present if you've played ages second and if it took three hundred years to get there it wouldnt he there OniDark Link 11:50, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Xykeb Zraliv– 2. To the house of the Bridgekeeper, which was the Mind of the Bridgekeeper, had come many thieves, and the Bridgekeeper had borrowed from the power of the Prince and thrown down these thieves, and truly did they know the name of the King. Er, when I said it takes place in the future, I meant it takes place in the present. Meaning whether it comes directly before or directly after Oracle of Ages, it's in the same time period as the present, since Link starts Oracle of Ages in the present age. So what I'm saying is that the Pirate Captain is alive in the present age, when Ralph is alive (since Holodrum presumably is all in the present) as well as in the past of Oracle of Ages when Queen Ambi is alive.
it all depends on which game you play first. he appears in the past in ages and in the present in a linked game. OniDark Link 19:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
he's never refered to as the pirate captain in game, instead he is repeatedly called Cap'n. change of name or add an unknownname tag? OniDark Link 19:48, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
That's...actually a very good point. If that's true, I think a page move is in order. XykebYvolixZraliv 20:20, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
You are right Oni. He is called Cap'n several times and he is never called Pirate Captain. Seeing as us 3 seem to agree, I'll move it, and if someone opposes they can state why here (although I doubt anyone will). --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 05:59, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
