Doesn't this also mean that he would stay the same age while Ambi gets older, and apparently be alive at the same time as some of his descendants (...which he did apparently, if he's alive in the present when Ralph happens to also be alive)? For that matter, how do he and Ambi have descendants in the first place if he's a skeleton? For that matter, how did they end up falling in love in the first place? This entire thing with the Pirate Captain and Queen Ambi confuses me so much...

Anyway he's an undead pirate, which combine like the two most bad*** things. Being undead I doubt he has a life span. He likely fell in love with Ambi when he was alive. Either it takes a veeerrrrry long time to get to holodrum from labrynna or he was there for quite a while before the game began.

Meaning whether it comes directly before or directly after Oracle of Ages, it's in the same time period as the present, since Link starts Oracle of Ages in the present age. So what I'm saying is that the Pirate Captain is alive in the present age, when Ralph is alive (since Holodrum presumably is all in the present) as well as in the past of Oracle of Ages when Queen Ambi is alive.
