The item in SS is apparently just called the "Bug Net". Because of the name discrepancy, we should probably wait until the game's actual release to do anything with it. But in order to plan ahead, do we make these two separate articles? I would assume yes even though they have the exact same function. I figure a see also linking the two would be the most consistent thing. Thoughts?--EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 05:32, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah. We do that with Bow/Hero's Bow/Fairy Bow, and I'm sure there are better examples, the point being this seems to be our standard. I wouldn't object to something more obvious like a game section which mentions the other item and links to its actual page, a mention of the similar item in the intro, or something like that. That'd really be a full wiki format change though, for the moment it sounds like policy is that these two things would just get their own pages and be linked via see also.--FierceDeku 05:43, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure if this should be considered a big a name change as Hero's Bow and Fairy's Bow. In those cases it seems they were going for a completely separate name but here it looks like they are going for the same name. Bug Net, Bug Catching Net, it's the same thing only with an extra word. I don't know in this case it just seems as if it could be a different translation. The Pegasus Boots were called the Pegasus Shoes in A Link to the Past, by the same logic we should have a separate page for them even though they function the exact same. It just doesn't seem like an intended difference to me. They aren't using any different adjectives to describe it like most other cases Oni Dark Link 11:30, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

Good points. I wonder if the Japanese name is the same. That could help us solve this easier. --EveryDayJoe45 (talk) 20:00, November 12, 2011 (UTC)
