Merge with Clean Cut[]

This island is tiny and has no features except the little garden in which Clean Cut is played. I think that, like the Bug Rock article, there should be one article that covers both the island and the minigame. Also, as with Bug Rock, this should be the parent page and Clean Cut should redirect to a section of this page devoted to the minigame.--Osteoderm Jacket 18:38, 16 January 2012 (EST)

Maybe... I don't know, but is it right to say that Peater inhabit the island as he actually lives in Skyloft? ----Norrvegr (talk | contribs) 15:06, 11 June 2012 (EDT)
Wow, we totally missed this one. Sorry about that Osteoderm. I agree with the merge. And given that Peater spends just as much time at Bamboo Island as he does at home, I don't see a problem with that. I guess it depends on how you define "inhabit". β€” Hylian King [*] 16:36, 11 June 2012 (EDT)
I also agree that this should be merged. It's one of those perpetual stubs that won't ever really become a good article on its own... Oh, and I also think we should list Peater as an inhabitant. Dannyboy601Talk 05:48, 17 June 2012 (EDT)
I like the idea of merging the two, bamboo island is rather small, and there simply isn't much to it on it's own. Even if you add the Shiekah stone and what it has to say, there isn't much. I think the page itself would be much more interesting with the Clean Cut article, and getting another good laugh at how you can only slice it 64 times before it starts over. I'm really late in putting my word in, but I would like to see the two merged. (Deadpixel333 (talk) 21:24, 25 December 2016 (UTC)Deadpixel333) 16:25, 25 December 2016 (EDT)
Clean Cut and Bamboo Island are two distinctively different subjects. One is about a sword technique and the other is a location and a mini-game. If there's any article that Clean Cut would warrant merging with, it would be a sword techniques list. But I do not feel that Clean Cut needs to be merged with any page. This is also a very old conversation from 2012 that never reached an "all for" consensus. - Midoro (T C) 23:14, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
Copied from the Clean Cut Talk Page:
After discussing with other Staff, I've come to the conclusion that these pages will not be merged.
The first point for pro-merge was: "As Bamboo Island has nothing on it except for this minigame.", but as of now (7 Years Later) the Bamboo Island article consists of more information.
The second point was: "...but Bamboo Island is essentially just a platform for Clean Cut to take place on." and ...since Clean Cut is the only thing on the island anyway. and the island does have more than just the Clean Cut minigame, like the Goddess's Treasure Chest in the back of the island and the appearance in Hyrule Warriors.
Bamboo Island is a place and the Clean Cut is a minigame, so it makes more sense to remain separate. Although, Clean Cut should be mentioned on the Bamboo Island article in a small section of its own. I know this is a very old discussion, but It never had came to a complete end, so I am ending it now. β€” 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐒𝐜𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐭𝐚π₯𝐀) 19:23, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
