"The Temple of Courage will open to the holder of the Sun Key."
— Inscription on a chart in the Temple of the Ocean King

The Sun Key is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Found deep beneath the southwestern portion of the Great Sea, the key can be located using a chart retrieved by the Salvage Arm. The Sun Key is used to open a door that has a symbol of the sun on it in the Old Wayfarer's hideaway on Molida Island. By opening the door, Link gains access to the Temple of Courage.

The key's sun design mirrors the fact that sunlight is the only thing capable of restoring the power of the Phantom Hourglass once it runs out, as Ciela is the Spirit of Time as well as courage. Also, when they first encountered the door the key unlocks, Ciela claims that something about its sun emblem 'tickles her memory', which is why she suggests that Link make note of it.
