Template:Character The {{{2}}} is a nameless man wearing a red hat and a red jacket standing very close to the old woman with a broom in Kakariko Village. He takes off whenever Link gets too close to him and is incredibly fast. Later on when Link acquires the Pegasus Boots, he can chase down the Dashing Man in Red to catch up him. The Dashing Man advises Link to dash into objects, such as trees in the village as he could find various objects hidden in them. Based on his dialog with Link, he believes the rumors about Link being a criminal, but admits that Link doesn't look like a bad guy.[1] He does however continue to run thereafter.

- Another Running Man appears in Ocarina of Time. This Running Man is the Hyrulean counterpart of the Terminan postman from Majora's Mask.
