"The Spring of Wisdom is a place where the princesses of Hyrule Castle used to go to do some kind of ceremony. No idea exactly what kind of ceremony, but anyways, it's not a place where us ordinary folks go. No princesses here."
Medda

Spring of Wisdom is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is located in the Mount Lanayru region of Hyrule. The Mark of Nayru appears on the alter that the spring's Goddess Statue sits upon. Shortly before the Great Calamity 100 years before Breath of the Wild, Princess Zelda visited this spring to purify herself and pray to Hylia to awaken her sealing powers which she also did at the Spring of Courage and Spring of Power.

During the "The Spring of Wisdom" Shrine quest, the Dragon spirit Naydra can be found at the spring, covered in growths of Malice. Link is directed by Hylia through the Spring's Goddess Statue to free Naydra by destroying the growths. After an aerial battle, Naydra returns to the spring and Link is told to shoot Naydra's body with an arrow, causing the Dragon to drop Naydra's Scale which Hylia directs Link to drop into the Spring which causes the Jitan Sa'mi Shrine to be revealed.
