- "A kitchen implement often used for serving delicious soups. It was carved from the wood of a study tree, so it actually packs quite the wallop."
- — In-game description
The Soup Ladle is an item in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a ladle commonly used for serving soup and can usually be found near certain Cooking Pots. Link can equip it and use it as a one-handed melee weapon. It has a base attack power of 4, though this may be increased by certain weapon bonuses. Bokoblins may occasionally pick up and wield one as weapon. One Bokoblin in the enemy camp in the Forest of Time wields one with a Pot Lid. One Soup Ladle spawns next to the Cooking Pot inside the Great Deku Tree in Korok Forest. Another can be found in the outdoor kitchen in Hateno Village if Link picks it up when Uma is sitting nearby she will ask him if he needs it and promises to tell the villages that he had taken it. Due to its connection to Cooking it can be seen as a weapon counterpart to the Pot Lid shield.
As it is made of wood, it can be used as a makeshift torch by lighting it on fire, though will burn up if it stays lit for too long as it reduces its durability. It will also burn up in volcanic heat of Death Mountain.
