Snurgles are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Small, flying elephant-like creatures, Snurgles attack the Spirit Train as it rides by. When this happens, Link can either scare them off with the train's whistle, or they can be killed with the use of the cannon.

If Link has any cargo in his Freight Car, the Snurgles will attempt to steal the cargo instead of attacking Link. In the case of Dark Ore, the Snurgle will try and suck the latter of the Freight Car.

Etymology Edit

The name Snurgle is likely a portmanteau of the word 'snatch', and the term burgle, the act of forcibly entering one's home.
