- "These low-level, octopus-like monsters used to be aquatic, but their inflatable air sacs evolved so that they are able to float around in the air. Other monsters are known to take advantage of this ability, using them to make floating fortresses. They are trained to ascend when they hear a whistle but they will not attack."

Sky Octorok is an enemy from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a flying subspecies of Octorok that lives in Hyrule that appears in "The Master Trials" DLC Master Mode. They are Octoroks tied to floating platforms that keep them in the air. They are similar to Octoballoons from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
According to their Hyrule Compendium description like all Octoroks they used to be an aquatic species but their inflatable air sacs evolved so that they are able to float around in the air similar to Water Octoroks when it rains though Sky Octoroks can float freely regardless of the weather. Other monsters have since taken advantage of this ability to construct flying fortresses by tying them to platforms and trained there to ascend when they hear a whistle. However they do not attack and are among the weakest enemies introduced in and exclusive to Master Mode. They do not drop any monster parts or items when killed.
