[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Skulltula Family reside within the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village. The family has six members; five teenagers and their father. However, due to their greed, every member of the family have been transformed into mutant Skulltulas. To break the curse, the father of the family asks Link to collect Gold Skulltula Tokens; shiny golden emblems left behind by defeated Gold Skulltulas found all over Hyrule. For each 10 tokens that Link collects (up to 50 tokens) a teenager will be returned to their original shape and present Link with a reward. When Link destroys all 100 Gold Skulltulas, the curse on the father is broken as well.
- 10 tokens: Adult Wallet, allows carrying up to 200 Rupees.
- 20 tokens: Stone of Agony, allows the Rumble Pak (or Rumble Feature) to vibrate when Link comes upon a secret grotto or feel the fish biting when fishing.
- 30 tokens: Giant's Wallet, allows carrying up to 500 Rupees.
- 40 tokens: 10 Bombchu.
- 50 tokens: a Piece of Heart.
- 100 tokens: Unlimited number of Gold Rupees.
[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Members of the Skulltula Family can be found across the land of Termina; the father, who has been transformed into a giant Skulltula, may be found in the Swamp Spider House in the Southern Swamp. To break the curse, Link must get the 30 Gold Skulltula Tokens inside the house. Once the Gold Skulltulas are defeated, the curse upon the man will be lifted, and he will express his thanks to Link by giving him the Mask of Truth. The man explains that an unknown man (possibly the Happy Mask Salesman) gave him the mask and he was then cursed upon entering the Swamp Spider House. Later, the father of the family can be seen at Romani Ranch.
On the Great Bay Coast, can be found the Oceanside Spider House. If Link defeats all the 30 Gold Skulltula and obtains their Tokens, he will find one of the teenagers at the entrance, saying he wants to buy the house. As a trade for the house, he gives Link the Adult Wallet (or the Giant's Wallet if he already has the Adult Wallet) — however, this only occurs if the Spider House is cleared on the First Day. During any other day, Link will only be given a Purple Rupee.
Two other members of the family can be seen if Link uses the Telescope in the Astral Observatory to look around Termina Field: one can be seen on top of one of the pedestals near the entrance to Ikana in Termina Field, and the other in the middle of a grass field near the entrance of the Southern Swamp. Directly below where they are standing can be found two hidden Grottos.

[edit] Sheikah connections
Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the viewpoints or research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.
The House of Skulltula, which is the home of the Skulltula family live in Ocarina of Time, has many spider webs and eroded bricks, which imply that is one of the oldest house in Kakariko Village, an early Sheikah village. The Sheikah distinctions are their pointed ears and red eyes, but since the eyes of the Skulltula family are always closed, it is impossible to see the iris color to determine whether they are Sheikah or Hylian.
Theory warning: Theories end here.
