The Seed Satchel is an item that appears in both in the The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. It is used to store the different seeds Link can obtain in both games. The five different types of seeds grow on respective types of trees.

in Oracle of Ages, Link can obtain the Seed Shooter which can shoot one seed of any type in the direction of his choice. In Oracle of Seasons, Link can obtain a Slingshot that fires three seeds, albeit less accurately than the Seed Shooter. It is given to Link by the Maku Tree in Oracle of Ages and is the treasure of the first dungeon, the Gnarled Root Dungeon in Oracle of Seasons.

[edit] Ember Seeds

Ember Seeds resemble small flames, and can be used to light torches, defeat enemies and burn saplings that hide hidden passageways.

[edit] Oracle of Ages

The Ember Tree in Oracle of Ages can be found just South of Lynna City/Village in both the Past and Present.

[edit] Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the Ember Tree can be found just south of Vasu Jewelers in Horon Village.

[edit] Gale Seeds

Resembling huge gales of wind, Gale Seeds can transport Link to any seed tree in Labrynna or Holodrum. In a dungeon, they can transport Link back to the start of the dungeon. Furthermore, they can be shot at enemies to warp them away.

[edit] Oracle of Ages

There are two Gale Trees in Oracle of Ages, the first of which appears only in the Present, while the second appears in both Past and Present.

The first can be found in in the middle of Symmetry City.

The second Gale Tree can be found in extreme south-western Labrynna, on an island above the Zora Village.

[edit] Oracle of Seasons

There are also two Gale Trees in Oracle of Seasons. The first is found in eastern part of the Sunken City, just north of the Great Moblin's house after Link has defeated him.

The second tree can be found south of the Ancient Ruins, just after completing the correct path in the Lost Woods.

[edit] Mystery Seeds

Mystery Seeds resemble question marks, and can be used on Owl Statues to receive hints. When used on most enemies, they produce a random effect similar to that of one of the other four types of seeds. For certain enemies, such as Buzzblobs and Cuccos, Mystery Seeds will cause a mutation to occur, turning them into Cukemans and Baby Cuccos, respectively. They play a key role in defeating Frypolars by turning its ice attack into liftable ice chunks that can damage his fire form. They are later used in both battles against Veran.

[edit] Oracle of Ages

In Oracle of Ages, Link gathers Mystery Seeds from the Mystery Tree in Deku Forest. Upon finding the Mystery Seeds for the first time, Link will be taken by a guard to Queen Ambi, who has been looking for the Mystery Seeds for Nayru. Ambi takes the seeds and gives Link Bombs in exchange. Link can go back at any time to retrieve more Mystery Seeds from the tree, but it is only found in the Past.

There is also another tree located in the southeastern part of Rolling Ridge. It only appears in the Past as well.

[edit] Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the Mystery Tree can be found southeast of the second dungeon, Snake's Remains, after obtaining the Winter-imbued Rod of Seasons and the Shovel.

[edit] Pegasus Seeds

Shaped like wings, Pegasus Seeds grant Link incredible speed for a short amount of time. The Pegasus seeds can also be used in conjunction with the Roc's Feather or Roc's Cape for a longer jump. When fired at an enemy, they do not increase its speed, as one might think. Instead, it stuns the enemy for a short period of time. The Pegasus Seeds' effect is similar to the effect of the Pegasus Boots; however, the Pegasus seeds wear off, unlike the Pegasus Boots.

[edit] Oracle of Ages

The Pegasus Tree in Oracle of Ages can only be found in the northwestern part of Rolling Ridge. The tree only appears in the Past.

[edit] Oracle of Seasons

In Oracle of Seasons, the Pegasus Tree is found southeast of Poison Moth's Lair and south of Tarm Ruins.

[edit] Four Swords

Pegasus Seeds are found randomly throughout Hyrule. They temporarily increase Link's walking speed.

[edit] Scent Seeds

Spherical in shape, Scent Seeds give off a smell that attracts monsters to it. This can be used to lure a group of enemies away from Link, thus making it easier for him to kill them. Scent Seeds are also useful for hitting levers or switches, since they are generally accepted to be the seed that players least use for its original purpose.

[edit] Oracle of Ages

In Oracle of Ages, the are two Scent Trees; one must be grown by Link and the Tokay on Crescent Island in the Past. Once Link has obtained a Scent Seedling, it can be planted in an area of soil on the northern side of the island. Upon returning to the Present, the Scent Seedling has become a fully-grown Scent Tree. Scent Seeds are needed for Link to be able to get back his original items from the Tokay Trade Hut without trading an item back to them. The other Scent Tree can be found in Ambi's Palace in the Past.

[edit] Oracle of Seasons

The Scent Tree in Oracle of Seasons can be found northwest of Blaino's Gym in Natzu Prairie.
