- "Long ago, Salvatore hoped to be a famous painter, but that dream didn't last long. He eventually returned to his hometown and came up with his current business plan. It's been a huge success, allowing him to purchase his own island, where he has opened up a second store in what he hopes will become a huge chain. He's now busy trying to think up that one idea that will spark his next big endeavor."

Salvatore is a recurring character in the Legend of Zelda series. He runs several mini-games in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. He usually re-enacts the objectives of his mini-games with costumes and cut-outs. Link appears to be his only customer. He appears to be bored with his job in The Wind Waker, and to a lesser extent, Phantom Hourglass, though he usually seems to enjoy acting.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Edit
In his first appearance, Salvatore runs the Sinking Ships mini-game on Windfall Island. He also manages the Barrel Shoot mini-game on Spectacle Island. Humorously, during the Sinking Ships game, when Link hits a squid, Salvatore shouts out "KABOOM!" But if Link misses, he says in a disappointed and low-pitched voice: "splooosh!" Salvatore's cardboard cutouts include a Windfall Island resident and children in Sinking Ships and Gonzo and Tetra in Barrel Shoot.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Edit
In the direct sequel to The Wind Waker, Salvatore runs the Cannon Game on Bannan Island. In order to actually find his booth, Link must pass through a cave on the island after obtaining the Bombs.
