The Town of Ruto, also known simply as Ruto, is a location from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This town is located in the mountainous region of northwestern Hyrule.
When Link visits Ruto, he helps a woman save her stolen Trophy. The woman awards Link by letting him meet her uncle, an Old Man who teaches Link the Jump Spell. He also meets Error, who tells him of a hidden tunnel near the King's Tomb.

The town of Ruto shares a name with Princess Ruto, princess of the Zora and one of the Seven Sages from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
