"You got a Ruto Crown! The Zoras have passed it down across generations."
— In-game description

Ruto Crowns are recurring items in the Legend of Zelda series. They are considered a Treasure and can be sold for many Rupees or used to customize certain objects. The treasure is said to have been passed down through the generations of Zora meaning the item may have been named after Princess Ruto.

Appearances Edit

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Edit

Ruto Crowns can be found randomly throughout the World of the Ocean King. Link can sell it to the Treasure Teller on Mercay Island for a random but fixed number of Rupees. It can also be sold to the Ho Ho Tribe on certain days.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Edit

Ruto Crowns can once again be found randomly throughout New Hyrule. They now have a fixed price of 150 Rupees when sold at the Trading Post but can also be used to customize certain train parts.
