The Royal Family's Tomb is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The tomb is a complex of caverns and passages situated in a Grotto directly below the headstone dedicated to the Royal Family of Hyrule, found in Kakariko Village's graveyard.
The way into the tomb can only be opened if Link plays "Zelda's Lullaby" while standing on the Triforce mark in front of the headstone. Doing this causes the skies to darken and rain to shower down. Eventually, a ball of shining light descends from the skies and shatters the headstone into pieces, allowing Link to enter the passage it once obstructed.
Two skeletons can be found in the first room that, when checked, say "Shine light on the living dead" and "Those who break into the royal tomb will be obstructed by the lurkers in the dark". Keese and ReDeads can be found within the tomb, the latter of which appear in the dungeon's largest accessible room; a room where green fumes fill the air. At the very end of the dungeon is the door to the chamber where the Hyrulean Royal Family has been laid to rest. On the stone door is inscribed notes for the "Sun's Song", a magical song composed by the Composer Brothers. When played, the "Sun's Song" turns day to night and vice versa. Also, the song stuns ReDeads for a short amount of time, allowing Link to sneak past them on his way out without being in any real danger.
There is also a poem on the wall next to the Sun's Song dedicated to the deceased members of the Royal Family. It reads: "The rising sun will eventually set, A newborn's life will fade. From sun to moon, moon to sun... Give peaceful rest to the living dead."
