The Royal Engineer is a title from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. This title is bestowed upon the person in charge of transporting the Royal Family of Hyrule via the Spirit Train. During the events of the game, Link is honored with this title, and he travels to Hyrule Castle to be personally given this honor by Princess Zelda. Here, he is branded with more than just a title, as he also finds out about the disappearing Spirit Tracks, and this in turn, unfolds into the overall story arc of the game.
