Rosa is a character who appears in both The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. She is a Subrosian whom Link encounters prior to his entrance to Subrosia. She wears an orange cloak and a hair ribbon, and seems to be one of the only females of the Subrosian race. She can only be encountered in Oracle of Ages during a Linked Game.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

Rosa as she appears in-game

Rosa is first encountered in the woods to the northwest of Horon Village after Link completes the Gnarled Root Dungeon, and begins his search for the Rod of Seasons. By eavesdropping, Link learns from Rosa that the Temple of Seasons has fallen into Subrosia, and she unwittingly leads him to the city by entering a hidden portal, allowing him to follow after her.

Later in the game, Rosa has lost her hair ribbon, and Link gives her a new one which he has purchased with Star-shaped Ore. Out of gratitude, Rosa then accompanies Link on a "date" across Subrosia, unlocking locked doors for him with her master key-like necklace. With her help, Link is able to enter the Temple of Seasons and get the power of summer for the Rod of Seasons.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

Rosa appears briefly during a Linked Game save file. She appears on Crescent Island, and helps Link recover some of his missing items from the Tokay. Later, she appears on Rolling Ridge, just outside the Goron Dance Hall mini-game.
