The Ribbon is a recurring quest item in the Legend of Zelda series.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Edit

The Ribbon is part of the trading quest for the Magnifying Lens. It is received from Papahl's Wife; Link can trade her the Yoshi Doll, as her infant son had been clamoring for said doll, and in exchange she gives Link the Ribbon. The Ribbon in turn can be traded with the small Bow-Wow pet of Madam MeowMeow's for a can of Dog Food.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons Edit

The Ribbon can be found in the Subrosia Market after obtaining a Star-shaped Ore from Subrosia Seaside. It can be given to the Subrosian pop star Rosa, who will in turn go on a date with Link as a reward. While on their date, Link can use Rosa's Key to open locked doors in Subrosia, including the tower in the Temple of Seasons leading to the Spirit of Summer.
