Pothole Field is a location from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. A region on Koholint Island, it is located in the south. After Link retrieves Richard's five Golden Leaves from Kanalet Castle, he allows Link to enter Pothole Field behind his villa. Link must navigate the potholes and bushes, some of which grow over other holes, to obtain the Slime Key that opens the door to Key Cavern. The Slime Key can be found by digging in front of an Owl Statue at the end of the maze of potholes.

If the player tries to lift a bush with the Power Bracelet and it doesn't budge, there is a hole underneath.
