The Port Town Guard is a character from Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. A strong-willed man, he protects Port Town from outside dangers and internal strife. Like most residents of Port Town, he is very greedy, and will not allow Tingle to enter the town without paying a fee of five Rupees.

Later, the Port Town Guard's wife grows ill, and can be cured with a bottle of Tingly made from Missy's recipe. Shortly after this, his wife becomes haunted by ghosts. The guard travels to the Icy Plain to defeat the Ghost Ringleader, but at first is too afraid to enter the graveyard. After Tingle, pushes him in, the Port Town Guard duels the ghost, but loses. Tingle then has to go visit Chiko's Grandmother and pay her a fee of roughly 1000 rupees so she can aid him. After the fee is paid she appears before the Port Town Guard posing as his wife. She speaks some love-filled motivational words which fuels him into getting up and fighting the Ghost Ringleader again. The second time around he defeats him much more soundly. The ghost admits she is jealous of the Port Town Guard's affection for his wife, and agrees to free his wife from being haunted. The Port Town Guard returns to Port Town after this, and rewards Tingle for his aid.

The Port Town Guard bears striking resemblance to the Royal Guards that watch over Buckingham Palace in Great Britain.
