[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
The Pirate Captain was a sea-faring man who became trapped along with his ship and crew in Labrynna's Sea of Storms and had originally been a native of that land. It is revealed later in the story of the two games that he had been the lover of Queen Ambi, who had originally ordered the construction of the Black Tower in order to search for him after he left on an adventure to explore the unknown seas beyond Labrynna's coast and went missing.
In the end, Queen Ambi is reunited with him in the subterranean country of Subrosia when she is sent on a soul-searching journey to the land of Holodrum by Nayru, the Oracle of Ages. It is presumed that he returns with Ambi to Labrynna and that they build a family together, eventually leading to the birth of Ralph.
[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
The Pirate Captain can be found in the House of Pirates in Subrosia. His ship has become marooned between worlds, half being stuck in Subrosia and half being stuck in Samasa Desert. After Link recovers his bell, he and his crew board the stern of the ship and sail up to Holodrum. Shortly after they dock at the Western Coast.
