[edit] History

Little is known about the history surrounding the Picori Festival Tournament, but some past winners are revealed in The Minish Cap. Vaati is the most recent winner, and his victory spins into a chain reaction that becomes the game's plot. Also, it is revealed that every single one of the Blade Brothers won the tournament in the past. Interestingly, King Daltus and Smith are stated to have fought to a draw in the tournament's final round a long time ago. Finally, the Crenel Hermit brags about winning the Picori Festival Tournament as a youth.
