|Overture of Sages|
|This song, being a hoax, is never played in-game|
|First appearance||Ocarina of Time (1998)|
|Power(s)||Warps to the Temple of Light|
In February of 1999, a mysterious woman using the pseudonym of Ariana Almandoz began leaking information about an obtainable Triforce in Ocarina of Time. One screenshot released by Almandoz to support her claim shows Kaepora Gaebora teaching the "Overture of Sages" to Link. Ostensibly, the song was a warp song that transported Link to the Temple of Light, where the Triforce was located — other screenshots were released to further compound this story. Although many bought into it, Ariana Almandoz revealed it to be a hoax on March 11, 1999 after being pressed with thousands of e-mails from skeptics and believers alike. Although a complete fake, the "Overture of Sages" is to this day remembered and considered one of the biggest fan-made hoaxes in video game history.
