Orielle is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. She is a resident of Skyloft along with her brother Parrow.

Story Edit

At a point during Link's adventures, Orielle flies off into the sky to investigate Fun Fun Island and does not return. Parrow, concerned, asks Link to search for her. Link finds Orielle on an island not far from Fun Fun Island. Orielle's Loftwing has been injured, and she requests that Link travel back to Skyloft and obtain special medicine from her brother. When Link returns to Skyloft, Parrow gives Link a Bottle of Mushroom Spores for Orielle's Loftwing. After healing the Loftwing with the medicine, Link obtains five Gratitude Crystals from Orielle.

Link can also potentially find Orielle and give her Loftwing Mushroom Spores without speaking to Parrow. If this happens, Link can talk to Parrow afterward and receive his bottle as thanks rather than obtaining it beforehand.

Etymology Edit

As many residents of Skyloft seem to be named after birds, it is likely that Orielle is named after the oriole.
