"O brave youth... I am one of four light spirits that protect Hyrule at the behest of the gods. I am Ordona. The black beast you slayed was a shadow being. It had come to seize the power of light I wield."
— Ordona

Ordona is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is the first Light Spirit, residing in Ordon Spring in the Ordona Province. It is is the only Light Spirit that does not have its power of light stolen from it by the Shadow Beasts.

At the battle with Ganondorf, Ordona and the other light spirits give some of their power to Princess Zelda in the form of Light Arrows. After Ganondorf is defeated, Ordona helps return Midna to her true form. Ordona seems to be a cross between an Ordon Goat and a fox or wolf. t keeps its light in the center of its oval horns.

[edit] Theory

Theory warning: This section contains theoretical information based on the viewpoints or research of one or several other users. It has not been officially verified by Nintendo and its factual accuracy is disputed.

It is possible that Ordona is the leader of the Light Spirits. Ordona's name has parts from the three Goddesses. Or = Farore Don = Din Na = Nayru.

As the other three Light Spirits represent a goddess, it would make more sense that Ordona at least represents all three goddesses, not just one.

Theory warning: Theories end here.

[edit] Trivia

  • In the Spanish and German versions, "Ordona" was changed to "Latoan" for unknown reasons. Oddly enough, in all versions, the main map says Latoan in Hylian Language.
