- "Ho ho! All the way out there? I see! I see! Quite so!"
- — Old Man Ho Ho
Old Man Ho Ho is a character from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. He is a Hylian man who can be found on many islands scattered throughout the Great Sea. He can always be seen staring out over the water of the ocean with his telescope. When Link speaks to him, Old Man Ho Ho can be heard mumbling to himself, commenting on whatever he is looking at. Whatever he points to is usually either a Big Octo or Submarine.
It is implied by his muttering to himself that he knows a great deal about the mysteries of the Great Sea, at one point nearly revealing that he knows of a Triforce Chart hidden in the Savage Labyrinth, though he stops himself before completing his sentence.

It is likely that Old Man Ho Ho later inspired the creation of the Ho Ho Tribe from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. It is unknown whether or not Old Man Ho Ho himself is supposed to be a part of the tribe, but cases can be made for this as well.
