- "Nayru... Poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world."

Nayru, also known as the Goddess of Wisdom, is a character from the Legend of Zelda series. She is one of the three Golden Goddesses that created Hyrule; with her sisters, Din and Farore, she contributed to the birth of Hyrule and its inhabitants. She is described as having poured her wisdom onto the earth and giving law to the world. Upon leaving Hyrule, she left her part of the Triforce, the Triforce of Wisdom, in the Sacred Realm.
Nayru is revered for creating the laws and physics of the universe that keep it in order. Her strength is defensive magic, and her spell is Nayru's Love, which protects the user from damage as long as it is in effect. The jewel Nayru's Pearl is believed to be one of her treasures. As the goddess of wisdom, she is associated with the Triforce of Wisdom and Princess Zelda.
Because of her part in creating the laws of the universe, it is possible that she is the Goddess of Time referred to in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. This would make her the deity who is worshiped in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's Temple of Time.
The oracle Nayru of Labrynna is named after her. In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, the Light Spirit Lanayru and the largest province of the same name are also named after the goddess.
