Mothula (ガモース, Gamōsu^?, Gamoth) is the boss of the Poison Moth's Lair, the third dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. The battle is mainly fought on two platforms in a single chamber. If Link falls off, rather than taking damage, he will fall into the room below. He will be forced to reenter the boss chamber, and the battle will be restarted from the beginning, no matter how much damage has been dealt to Mothula.

Battle Edit

Mothula starts off the battle by flying around the chamber, shooting fireballs and tiny moths at Link in an attempt to knock him off the ledge and into the room below. Link can use the Roc's Feather to dodge these attacks and reach Mothula when it lands on one of the platforms. After a few sword combos, Mothula will be defeated, and Link obtains the Bright Sun.
