[edit] Appearances

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

The Moon Pearl is a red orb that has the power to allow Link to remain in his Hylian form when inside the Dark World; normally, he would change into a pink rabbit. It can be found in the Tower of Hera, the third and final dungeon of the Light World.

[edit] The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

Moon Pearls appear again in Four Swords Adventures. There are several Moon Pearls in this game, which appear as blue spheres. Each one can be used once to open Moon Gates to the Dark World on certain spots; they shatter as soon as they open a portal. Link can identify these spots by listening for a faint tinkling sound. Link must carry Moon Pearls with him and cannot use any other items while he is doing so.
