The Moon's Tear is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It is a magical rock that falls from the eye of the Moon. The Moon's Tear can be obtained outside the Astrologer's Planetarium after Link uses the telescope to gaze at the Skull Kid atop the Clock Tower. The Astrologer also has another Moon's Tear on display in his Planetarium. It can be traded in South Clock Town to a Deku Scrub for the Land Title Deed, giving Link the right to use the Deku Flower. If Link transforms into Deku Link and waits at least six hours into the third day, he may then hover up to the platform leading to the top of the Clock Tower. On the platform is a Piece of Heart. Once Link goes inside the Clock Tower, he may then retrieve his Ocarina of Time back from Skull Kid.
